We came here for brunch and it was really good! All the food we had was great, but the server was not the best. She was a little rude and not helpful but at least the food made up for it! The French onion breakfast sandwich was amazing! Definitely recommend getting that for sure. The cheesesteak eggs rolls and truffle Mac and cheese were great too. We will for sure be coming back but hope we don’t have the same server.
Enjoyed the Restaurant week menu after a show at nearby Bass Performance Hall. Started with Cheese steak egg rolls - Strange but amazing. Wife had the filet - perfectly cooked! I had the Half Roasted Chicken- was wonderful. Still trying to figure out how most of the bones were out of the thigh.
It was a great Friday night spot for dinner with family. We tried the cheesesteak egg rolls and I ordered the Lemon Dill Salmon with the roasted asparagus. Samantha was our waitress and awesome. She was attentive, made suggestions and checked on us. I will definitely be back soon.
Casey was an excellent server! So kind, always had my drink refilled without asking, answered my 1000 menu questions, offered me a replacement meal when I didn’t care too much for mine, consistently checked on our table, and kept such a kind positive attitude when having to work on Christmas.
Food wasn’t bad for what I tried! Limited Christmas menu since the stock was low so I can’t judge their day to day menu! But exceptional service! Thank you!
Food was great, service was excellent, atmosphere is awesome.
Sitting on Sundance Square is a treat all it's own, but coupled with the excellent food, and awesome service makes it that much better.
Our servers were on top of everything, water glass was never empty. The NY Strip steak was cooked exactly as ordered and there drinks were great. I would recommend adding on a specialty butter, I didn't and regretted it.
The old fashioned was standard but well executed, and I highly recommend the vanilla Manhattan.
Absolutely the best steak I've had in a while. Very tender and juicy and made perfectly. 😋! The truffle Mac and cheese smooth and creamy and delicious. Definitely recommend stopping by. I was a little disappointed with the wait, but the food was well worth it. The parking downtown is a little hectic so plan accordingly 🙃
This place is incredible! Seriously, the best shaved steak sandwich I've ever had in my life! Our server Hannah was very friendly and attentive. Make sure to save room for dessert. The lemon cake was so delicious, and it's HUGE!! 🍰 We definitely will be back! Five stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Thanks y'all!
The environment, food, and service were wonderful. It's not a regular outing to spend so much on a meal ($500+ for 4 people, appetizers, drinks, main course, and dessert) but for the cost it was exactly what we wanted for a special event. We will be back in the future.
Only bothersome issue was that we dressed up, per the dress code, and it was minimally followed.
Went with my wife for our anniversary dinner. Sunday reservation at 6 pm. Arrived around 5:45 and was seated within 5 minutes. Server Molly was great at Serving us. Restaurant was clean, cool , and not very crowded. Food is pricy as is most places in Sundance Square. You get a nice view directly across from the main square. The food was great and did not disappoint . The deviled egg starter was fantastic if you like deviled eggs , but the Philly cheesesteak egg rolls were amazing. I see why everyone loves them.
For entrees I ordered the 8 ounce filet mignon with Brussels sprouts. Steak came out seasoned well with a nice sear and rare in the middle as I requested. Brussel sprouts had a nice sweet and acidic balsamic dressing and were well roasted. My wife ordered the petite filet medallions ( one topped with peppercorn sauce with mushrooms and the other with bearnaise sauce, and crab meat. The sauces on both of those were absolutely fantastic and I found myself dipping my filet in her sauces. If you’re considering the filet , I’d opt for the medallions with the sauces instead. For her side she got the truffle Mac and cheese. She loved it , but it was very bold with the truffle flavor , and I didn’t care much for it. If you love truffle flavor you’ll love it, if you don’t care for truffle then order another side.
For desert we shared the Nutella bread pudding. Comes with a side of mascarpone with berries, caramel drizzle and it’s topped with vanilla bean ice cream. It was absolutely delicious and I’m glad we chose that as our desert . Wait time for the food was not long at all.
All in all I have zero complaints for my first time at this establishment and enjoyed our date. Next time we go will check out the brunch menu earlier in the day.
The food here is always spot on. We love the appetizers. The Southwest Egg rolls are literally one of my favorite dishes at any restaurant of all time. The truffle Mac and cheese is fantastic, and even better with lobster added. The steaks are always at the correct temperature ordered, and seasoned well. It's located in a great spot right in the square, within walking distance of many other bars and restaurants, along with Bass Hall.
