This food is amazing!! When you first walk in, you can smell that its going to be good. This place is clean, comfortable and fast service. I ordered the brisket plate and my friend ordered the baby back ribs! The greens were tasteful and seasoned well. Whenever I come back, this will definitely be a go to stop!
Do you like BBQ made by Fat Boyz? Then you'll love this place! Honestly one of the few places in Fort Lauderdale that has good sauce and amazing brisket. Easily one of the best bbq places I've been to. The downside is you don't get a lot of food for the price of the brisket plate. I'll be back but going to order something else.
The best collard greens I have ever eaten! Delicious. The other food was very good. Burnt ends were a bit fatty as was the regular brisket. The cole slaw was great. Mac and cheese was OK. I have had better. The service was great and the people VERY SWEET! Did I say the collards were fantastic? I would go back just for them. They told me the special spice was "a lot of love." We will go back.
I had the brisket and the meat was so tender I was able to cut it with a plastic knife. I ordered the Smoked Mac & Cheese & BBQ Baked Beans as my sides & both were delicious. The staff is friendly and the beer cold. This is my go to place for great BBQ.
Delicious BBQ on the East side of town! No need to go anywhere else, everything on the menu was spectacular. Traditional sides pair with solid, well made BBQ cuts.. It's a match. All of the sauce options are very tasty and fresh, they are on the table ready for you to choose. Service is fast here, you won't have to wait all day. If there is something the kitchen has run out of, the staff will come check on how they can complete your order to satisfaction. A great family atmosphere, and huge venue that has seating for larger parties. New, but not new to making good BBQ... Go to FatBoyz ASAP!

Rib Tips sandwich with Texas Toast ordered through Postmates. One word, "DAMN". Been a long time since I such good BBQ. Ribs were perfect and Texas Toast was on point. My only dissatisfaction is I had no more ribs to get eat after I finished. Great food and great sauces. Will be ordering my BBq only from here.
Food was exceptional! The pulled pork was great and so was the Mac and cheese. But you must try the collard greens and the corn bread! Slaw was good too. The carolina sauce was good. Service was good.
I have read some of the reviews. And typical SFLA BS complain about anything and everything!! And I can say that I was born and raised here. I have Grands from the deep south. And lived in the Deep south where you can order a meat and three. I am floored at how good this food is!!!!! Please support this place we need non Chain here!! And this place is special the smoked chicken, collard greens ,smoked Mac and corn bread is off the hook!!!!! You need to travel usually to get this flavor!! Amazing!!!!!
Fat Boyz has opened a location in Fort Lauderdale. I had lunch there and it was great. I ordered the St. Louis style ribs with the smoked mac n cheese and candied yams. This is the 3rd Fat Boyz location I've been to as they have (Coral Springs, and Deerfield Beach locations. I was very impressed on the spaciousness of the restaurant as they have quite a few tables in the restaraunt.
The Ribs were outstanding as usual, but you can turn it up a notch by trying one of their 4 signature sauces. Also don't forget to try the brisket as it is amazing. They just opened and the buzz is starting. So I'd get over there as soon as possible. As their other locations usually carry a long line for lunch. I'll definitely be coming back to this spot as it is conveniently located down the street from the Galleria Mall.
