Absolutely Phenomenal!! I have lunch from Curry Express daily. I can not speak enough about them. They are perfecting fitting in meal size and their prices are right down my alley. Try them... I promise you won't be disappointed. :)
Seriously. This hidden gem could be the culinary highlight of South Florida. Don't pass on their soups - you'll never have a richer and more wholesome experience in your life. The location might be part of the charm or authenticity, but it's not what you'd expect being attached to a gas station. The staff is nice. And, if you go here, you won't be sorry.
Don't let the location or the size of this little restaurant fool you... This place serves up big flavor in REAL Indian and Jamaican home cooking. Not only do they treat you like family, but the care and attention to detail they put into cooking their food is complemented by the sweet and savory aroma of well chosen spices marinating in the kitchen.
Give yourself a treat and check this place out!
P.s. The garlic naan is awesome!
My requires I be on the move all day, my partner and I stopped at gas station and saw this spot attached to it. Hungry, working quickly and low on cash we stopped and order curry chicken with rice and peas less than 10...and quick. Ladies are very polite, patient and the food was licksmacking good. Stop be and tast how good their good is..very happy
Landed in Florida hungry looking for a lunch spot. Passed it by twice because all we saw was a gas station. The great reviews made us look harder. Circled back around and found it. The people were very sweet and patient with us. Never did a Jamaican and Indian menu before but have had plenty of Indian food in our life. We did a blend of both worlds and the food was amazing...the rice, Chana Masala, curry chicken, all of the Jamaican food, garlic naan and plantains. Wish we could transplant this place in our state. Thank you for this wonderful meal!
Food is delicious... Reason they get only 4 stars is because they rastaman doesn't put enough meat in the container...
You pay over $10. For a curry goat or stew beef and only get like a few pieces of meat...
Aside from that the food is excellent... the staff is friendly...
Try putting more meat in the container
I was looking for a good Indian place near my house and I found this gem that also has Jamaican food, which I love. The tiki masala and the jerk chicken were spectacular. Next time I’m going for the oxtail and goat. Don’t expect a fancy place. It’s at a gas station. But expect great service and wonderful food.
I needed to have food catered at the last minute for a 300 people event. The owner was incredibly accommodating and helpful. She had all the food ready to go next day for my event. EVERYONE loved the food and kept asking about the restaurant. We had chicken tikka masala, mattar paneer, and indian rice, all more popular than the next with my audience. My wife and I went back the next day and tried the jerk chicken and I have honestly never had one better than I did here. But the best part about this place is how welcoming and customer friendly the ownership is here. You will never leave without a smile on your face and tummy full of great food. Sometimes you find the best things in the most unlikely places and Curry Express is a great example of that. Go here and try the food, I HIGHLY recommend this restaurant!!!

We got chana masala, chicken tikka masala, chicken curry, samosas and everything was top notch. I am so glad we tried this place. This is a hidden gem in Fort Lauderdale.
