We don't eat much Chinese food because the places we have been going to have changed and are not the same anymore. Today we started a new search for a new Chinese food restaurant and found a gem right under our noses. I called in the order (you can order online) because I had a question about on of the beef options. The person who answered the phone was very kind and said they could make the beef dish less spicy if I wanted. I ordered our food and Hubs went to get it as it was going to be ready in 10-15 minutes. Hubs also confirmed the woman who works there was very nice. Okay, now to the review of the food....I was very happy with the food. The egg rolls were amazing. We also got the house fried rice, House egg Foo young and hunan beef. It was all very fresh and yummy. The gravy for the egg Foo young was perfect. The price was reasonable. Glad to have a new go-to place to get Chinese food. 🥠

Ruby Chen’s is the best Chinese in town. Friendly staff, quick service and their prices are great. I got the Sesame Chicken combo with Hot and Sour soup and an egg roll. When my order was ready the soup was missing. I asked and the lady said she didn’t hear me order the soup. She gave me the soup and refused to take money for it. That is top drawer service. Love this place
I have eaten a lot of Chinese food around the country and coming from California, Las Vegas, Minnesota, Texas & Mississippi just to name a few places these cooks do not short change or skip ingredients in FT LAUDERDALE.
THE FOOD IS THE BEST THAT I HAVE HAD IN A LONG LONG TIME. THE FLAVOR IS AS IF I WAS ACTUALLY IN CHINA.
I had the shrimp egg foo young cooked PERFECTLY. It was so good. The hot & sour soup was great.

the family own business is a number #1 place in my book. the young man doing cashiering was nice and he had his customer service skill on point.
the place appears as a hole in the wall but the food fast like a $$$$ restaurant.

Massive, delicious portions served with a smile. I come here frequently to fill my need for Chinese food. The lunch/chef specials are amazing. If you're looking for a tasty quick bite don't hesitate. Most orders will be ready by the time you get there.
It's in a shopping center down the street from my house, and I have driven by it for years, never stopping in. I did last week and was completely surprised by how good it was. Fresh and on point with the quality and quality. I would call it "a hidden jem" in an sr84 shopping center. Definitely give this place a try... the have a full menu and at a reasonable price and value for the money. Highly recommend 👌

We’ve been coming here for the last 3 years, it’s our go to Chinese spot. Consistent and fast, the food is always hot and the portions are good for the price. The staff is very friendly and they have house made sauces that are available upon request and delicious! Overall a good spot.
I have been here at least 8 times and for me the flavor, the portions and quality are really good and very consistent. No way you can’t miss it.
