We hosted a baby shower in the party room at Jimmy’s Place. Jimmy and the staff were extremely accommodating and easy to work with. They allowed us to come early and set up decorations and helped set up the space for what we wanted. We added a few extra appetizers and an open bar to the basic package and it was a great value for the quality. The staff were very attentive and helpful. Guests were very impressed with the calamari, pizza, and handmade pasta. The desserts were SO good. The staff packed up leftovers so guests could take them on their way out. The whole team did a great job at helping us make a customized family event memorable and with as little stress as possible.
Let me start this off by saying that the pizza was absolutely amazing! Perfect amount of cheese, sauce, and pizza dough! The spaghetti had the perfect amount of sauce. I definitely saw they were short staffed but this whole world is short staff and apart from that we got service fast and sufficient. Definitely going to return for the pizza!
This is ‘Authenic Old World’ cooking at its best. I highly recommend not passing this place up.
The spaghetti was awesome (enough for two portions) Meatballs out of this world and a tasty homemade gravy as it’s called. Comes with some excellent rustic bread. And speaking of homemade, the minestrone soup never saw a can, authentic homemade soup.
You will not be disappointed.
First time here for a lunch after a funeral, but the food and atmosphere lifted everyone's spirits. Menu was chosen by the hosts, but it was still great. Pizza appetizer followed by a buffet with salad, meatballs, chicken and made-from-scratch pasta. Everything was really tasty, and avoided the mortal sin of an Italian restaurant: meatballs that are too hard, and pasta that's overcooked. Not fancy cuisine, but you won't be hungry for a while, and you will have enjoyed your meal. Service very friendly and efficient, even though our waitresses had a large group to contend with. The decor is devoted to local themes (schools, sports teams, etc.) which I love because it means the ownership cares about the community. I would go back here in a flash (I may have found a new pizza place) or recommend it to others.
This is just a great place. Hardy drinks and surprisingly well executed food. Great pork chops, lamb shanks and a huge array of pasta. I love the rapini and beans. Always a friendly staff. There’s a great little parking lot in the back that not many people know about but it’s there and it makes this place incredibly convenient.
Good place for dinner. The ingredients were fresh and flavorful. There were a couple little things that were a little off, such as the angel hair pasta was a bit overcooked along with the chicken, and the pizza was a bit bland. However, the service was friendly and really personable, you can tell that a lot of the locals eat here. The ambiance is relaxing and the portions are huge.
