The person who makes the ice cream serves the ice cream and it is delicious! Plus he makes excellent sorbet and gelato. Be sure to stop by if you're staying in or passing through Key Largo!
Great experience! The ice cream is homemade and the waffle cones are made to order and served warm. Delicious and fresh ice cream, gelato and sorbets! My husband and I had seconds and tried their homemade key lime pie made fresh by Destiny. Mr. C has a dedicated loyal staff. My husband and I will be returning often for the fresh desserts and amazing service from Destiny. Thank you for all your help D.
Loved this place! Very freshly made homemade ice cream and gelato and sorbets. My husband loved the cantaloupe sorbet; I loved the creamy coconut ice cream. The gelato here is more icy, less fat. Craving the full fat rich experience, after sampling both went with the ice cream. Large portion for the price. It only has 2 tables so expect to take out during busy season. Bargain lunch would be their ny style Nathan's hot dog , a drink, and ice cream for only $6.95! Glad we found this place... Double yum!
Well I have never written a review before. I know I should but I just don't. However this may be the BEST ice cream I be ever eaten. My husband and I are great lovers of ice cream. We have tried a lot of ice cream over the years and this is the real deal. Just go. And be sure to try the chocolate brownie.
Stopped here on a whim and glad we did. We had two hotdogs and two cones. Everything was absolutely delicious. Nathan's hotdogs with homemade chilli hit the spot and the homemade waffle cones and ice cream was the perfect dessert. The owner was there running the counter and was friendly and courteous. He checked on us frequently and made sure we had everything we needed. Just be aware this shop is a tiny hole in wall shop. This isn't a new fancy chain shop but it is clean and quaint. If you are staying in or going through Key Largo you should definitely stop in here for a cone.

We love this place! The ice cream is great, you can tell it is homemade and you can feel how proud the owners are of it. The *one* downside, is that they make their waffle cones fresh, so if they're out, it's a bit of a wait. But that's a positive (fresh waffle cones!) wrapped into a negative (waiting), so I can't even dock a star for it. The ice cream is great, super creamy. I personally prefer it over the gelato, but anything you get will be good!
All homemade ice cream in so many flavors and so creamy! Yum! Homemade waffle cone was great! Loved having it warm but it did melt the ice cream faster. Owner is a character, in a good way. A list stop when in the area!
I’m from Wisconsin and this was god honestly the best ice cream I’ve ever had. My gf and I went on a vacation to the keys and stopped one hot afternoon and we will never forget it. I tried one of each type of frozen treat they have! Also Mr. C himself was there and telling us all about the amazing ingredients they use to make it! I will definitely be back next time I visit 💞
Me and my wife went here multiple times on our honeymoon! We got to meet Mr C and his cat and they were both so friendly. This place is the definition of honest work. He hand makes all the ice cream in store and it’s no joke. Best ice cream we have ever had (trust me we have had our fair share).
We love this place so much and will make it a staple whenever we travel to the keys 😄😄😄

Get the cone! One of the only places I have seen fresh waffle cones made in front of you, awesome ice cream with a very personal experience, wife, and husband on the shop and our sweet as can be. Any type of ice cream that you try is absolutely amazing, but the waffle cone is where it’s at as long as you can make it home with it and or eat it before it melts all over you. 😍
Mr. C’s ice cream is a must! The ice cream was fresh and creamy. The Oreo was to die for hands down some of the best ice cream I’ve had in a long time. Mr. C was there scooping learned that the Oreo ice cream was the first one he ever made. My husband had the key lime pie alamode and said it was out of this world (picture)
This place was dead on a Tuesday night, which was surprising! But either way, they had SO many choices of ice ream to include sorbet, gelato and ice-cream. All were delicious.
I preferred the cannoli gelato. My husband LOVED the pineapple mango sorbet.
I also got a small key lime pie for later :)
It was a very personable experience with a great employee helping us. Gladly gave suggestions and helped and gave service with a smile. The person at the time also allowed me to make a substation to my order and was given helpful advice about the surrounding area. Overall I would rate it 10/10! Very good!
Mr. C and his wife are lovely! Everything is HOMEMADE by Mr. C. I HIGHLY recommend the cannoli ice cream. (NO high fructose corn syrup in any of his recipes) The homemade waffle cone topped it off! 😋 Much love from WV!
