We think this is the best Mexican restaurant around. Recently we took a long vacation throughout the southwest, eating Mexican the whole way. We couldn't wait to get home and go to El Sol for really good tasting Mexican fare. The family-run restaurant is clean and the wait staff is very friendly and attentive. I love the Enchiladas Mexicanas. The fajitas are very tasty and the proportions are large. I usually take home enough for lunch the next day. The music there for Cinco de Mayo was the winning touch for our welcome home dinner!
El Sol is one of the best Mexican restaurants in Fayetteville. The food is always fresh and the service attentive. They give you two types of salsa for an appetizer. One is mild and refreshing, while the other is spicy and unique. I like to order their guacamole, which is the best in town in my opinion. The tamales and quesadillas are very good, as well as the enchiladas. I like to order "The San Antonio" which comes with a tamale and enchilada with rice and beans. The Chile Colorado is also tasty.
If you are ever on the east side of Fayetteville , and craving some Mexican, give El Sol a try! It's located right by the Walmart off Crossover.
Wee love El Sol. We have been going to El Sol since it opened. The food is great! The atmosphere and service are second to none, We have recommended it to all of our friends. Anyone who has gone there has told us how much they enjoyed the experience,

Best Mexican food in town bar none!. From the salsa to the margaritas El Sol is hands down the best Mexican food in town. The staff is always friendly and welcoming and the food cannot be beat. If you haven't been here, you are truly missing out.
Consistently, what we think, are the best quesadillas in town. Family owned and operated, they also have a wide selection of tequila and quality margaritas. A great place for a quick lunch or a relaxing dinner.
