Hands down - not just the best Mexican restaurant, but across the board the best restaurant I've eaten at in a long time! I am typically very hard to please and can be critical and harsh in my "judgement" of restaurants. So, for me to give this place 5 stars is really saying something. Probably the only critique I have is that, while you can tell the salsa was fresh/ homemade, it was fairly bland. And, I'm sensitive to spice. It was good, just needed more spice/ flavor. I had the stuffed avocado and was in heaven with my first bite. So creamy and amazingly delicious! My boyfriend had the Street Tacos, and said they were really good - the steak was so tender and cooked perfectly. He also ordered their hot salsa (b/c nothing is hot enough for him), and after his first bite, he said, "oh yeah, that's what I'm talking about!". We also got a couple margaritas. I only had about 1/4 of mine and was ready to pass out! After half of it, I was stumbling out the door. Granted, I'm a bit of a light-weight, but still... it was great, and they did not skimp on the top shelf! The service was really great - our server was happy and friendly. They checked on us frequently. The place is clean, and the atmosphere is great. And, the prices were all extremely reasonable! We will definitely be frequenting this place! (Hopefully we don't catch you on a bad night like I've seen on other reviews!) ;-)
I love coming here for all meals! Try the breakfast! The service is one of a kind and always made sure we were satisfied. Definitely recommend San Miguel as the best restaurant in Fayetteville.
Went to this place after a family member suggested it for post Christmas dinner. The salsa was fresh and vibrant but was almost in too big of chunks to put on a chip. Aside from the typical tomato cilantro onion type they laid out a chipotle (mixed perhaps with mole?) That was sweet and smokey. The enchiladas I had were good but nothing special. The chicken was tender though! I will say its more authentic than say... La Huerta. Overall good for quick americanized Mexican food.
We tried this place out one Saturday morning when my husband wanted breakfast and the line was out the door of a popular breakfast restaurant. I'm not much of a breakfast person, so was thrilled that I could get Mexican food, which ALWAYS sounds good to me. :)
My husband got the farm fresh egg breakfast and the Belgian waffle. He knew immediately the eggs were real (not powdered) and that they were amazing. The fried potatoes were real and cut big, fried with peppers and onions. Turkey bacon and sausage are also available. He said it was one of the best restaurant breakfasts he's had.
The Mexican food is a little step above the other local Mexican chains here, and was extremely tasty. The chicken poblano enchiladas are excellent!
While this location is a little hidden, you should take the chance to visit. The wait staff is friendly and the place is clean.

Good food, fair prices, good drink prices. Employing people who wouldn't get the job otherwise. Only complaint is that the salsa is too chunky for me. Definitely worth a visit.

+4.5
Good stuff. They seem to take the Mexican food to a little higher place. They also have a few things I don't see at the other restaurants. The pork fajitas are really good. We recently discovered the stuffed avocados. If you like avocados then TRY them. They may not even be on the menu but they will make them for you. Really good. The avocados come out so creamy and good. Huge menu. They have breakfast too but I haven't been able to get there yet for breakfast.
This one is solid folks.
Good food, enchiladas were some of the best quality I have found in the area. My margarita, and the service was excellent. Very friendly staff!
Love this place, great food and good service, highly recommend it. The only criticism I have is that sometimes the food is a little salty. Really like the fajitas and enchiladas!
Very healthy, fresh Mexican dishes. I had the Tequila salad with fajita chicken. It was delicious. Love the $1 Mimosas on Sundays and the green smoothie was a great surprise to find on the menu. Made fresh daily. Service was extremely fast and pleasant. We will be back.
San Miguels continues to be my favorite brunch spot. It's not overly crowded, the food is good, and one dollar mimosas are a great bonus. I've eaten here for lunch several times as well, and it's always great.
This is by far the best Mexican In Fayetteville. Service has always been great! Steak quesadilla is amazing. Steak is tender and great flavor.

The team here is awesome. The food was fantastic. One of our group enjoyed their $1.99 margarita specials. The beverages came promptly. My hot tea was excellent and served in a proper teapot. The chips were fresh and hot. The salsa not spicy but very flavourful. I enjoyed my burrito grande with a side of sour cream. The refried beans were perfectly done. The carnitas and other dishes were well-liked by our table. I won't say how many. Service was excellent and everyone was treated kindly and with respect. A good time was had by all.
Great customer service love the food
Great food. Huge patio. You can really relax here because they have a ton of space outside. The food is good. The drinks are great. It's right on the bike trail so it's a full pandemic adventure.
I really like the chips from here. Light and crisp. The enchiladas verdes are my go to dish here.
Finally tried this place and I'm honestly disappointed in myself for not coming sooner. The beans aren't the typical refried beans that you typically get, but rather a bean soup dish served in a bowl. And it was delicious! Had the shrimp, steak and chicken fajitas for 2 and it was so so good. Quality meat with some serious flavor. And holy huge shrimp, batman! And they didn't skimp on the sour cream or guac! Now we were absolutely stuffed but the manager dude talked us into trying their flan and i'm so glad he did. It was the absolute best I've ever had!
Thank you San Miguel! We had a wonderful, relaxing lunch today on the patio. The food was as delicious as always. And our waitress was great.
