This is the best fried chicken in Cumberland County. I'm not a big fan of Eastern North Carolina BBQ so I'll skip that. My only disappointment is that the coleslaw comes from a truck and isn't hand made. That's a shame because coleslaw is easy to make.
Upon our second visit, I am extremely impressed. I had to up my rating.
Much( MUCH ) better this go round.
The restaurant is very clean. The staff is very polite and generous. The food was very delicious and affordable to satisfy my cravings during my pregnancy. My husband had the pork chops and coleslaw with tea and a banana pudding. He was very thrilled and absolutely loved the coleslaw he got a pint just to take home. Def. a 10/10 and will be back
For Fridays and Saturdays I recommend the Whole Catfish or Filet of Flounder which are cook to order so you get it nice and fresh. On any other given day the Chopped BBQ sandwich with homemade coleslaw is a great choice! If you do pop by, With your meal I do recommend the sweet tea and for those who don’t like sweet not to worry they also have unsweetened! The restaurant is very clean in both the dining room and the bathrooms. The staff is very welcoming.
I've been eating BBQ Hut every since I can remember, & one thing remains the same- its always, always good. I've never had a disappointing meal from BBQHut especially the one on Owen Dr. & now that I have kids,my kids love it just as much as I do, we can never get enough of their crispy, hot chicken, delicious hushppies or their good ole sweet, sweet tea😀MmmmGood!
BBQ rib plate out of the good sides and only had okra fries beans and potato salad. Everything was good though to taste and portions are good!
