Very excellent steaks, ranch style beans and coleslaw. The waiting area has a large comfortable bench, with the surrounding Southwest decor. The front of the house is very orderly. I made a last minute to go order for coleslaw (for 20 servings) and they were very accommodating. They offered me a drink while I waited (which I didn't have to pay for) while I was waiting.
Excellent in every way. I stopped here on the way back to the hotel from a long day out in the field. The service was excellent. My tea glass was never less than 1/2 empty. Had a fillet and it was great. Just the way I like it mid rare. Giant baker, beans and slaw. More than I could ever hope to eat. I imagine I will be stopping by here at least a few more times hhis trip. Great meal after a long day in the field!
Good steak but not the best. Slow service at times. Overall better than not. Steakburgers with green chili are the best.
Awesome Experience. Perfect evening! The Service was top notch, the steak was so delicious and tender and juicy- it was truly melt in your mouth good! I live in Atlanta and always make it a point to eat here whenever I'm in El Paso- This Restaurant is the best in the country!
Choicest Steaks Found Here. My husband and I split one order of the 2lb Top Sirloin steak for our dinner. We have never been dissappointed in the quality of this Great American Land & Cattle located in the northeast. The steak is always tender and well seasoned.
In the northeast area, the Great American Land & Cattle Restaurant is a favorite place to celebrate Birthdays, Wedding Anniversaries, and Organization Meetings. The wait staff is very good at serving large groups. This restaurant aslo has a side room that can be reserved for private parties.
Delicious food and Great service!. The food is really tasty, and the meat is always cooked as asked. Amazing beans and fresh cole slaw are my favorite! Service is friendly and attentive. Price is decent considering the kind of food served. We always keep going back!
Tasty. Like everything....their prices have definitely climbed in the past few years. The food is always tasty....and the service always seems to leave something to be desired. The last few times we've been there, we've been unable to eat the BBQ beans we are served. They taste just like someone dumped a HUGE bottle of chili powder into the pot. Nasty! Last time we went...as we were about to order THEN the waitress decided to tell us they were out of T-Bones and out of shrimp. Not when we sat down, or when she took our drink order, but when we were ordering. Of course, hubby was going to order the T-bone...and I was about to order the shrimp! GRRRR. I ended up with the beer battered fish.....and OMG...it was probably the best I've ever eaten! Definitely order the fish at the steakhouse. Very tasty!
Foods pretty good but service can be kinda slow at times
one of my favorite burgers out there, I really like the meal and now definitely I will go back to try other plates.
The burgers are very well served, they are BIG and are cooked perfectly as asked.
I tried the hawaiian one, very good. The spicy sauce IS spicy. Watch out.
We seated outside, is a very nice area and we got served very well. Nobody forgot about us and we always had a glass full of water.
I may have already posted a review before, but they are deserving of another. Awesome and consistent food! Friendly and efficient service! Spacious and accommodating atmosphere. A wonderful menu full of choices for everyone. Wheelchair accessible! Kid friendly! Family friendly. Large crowd accomodations with advance notice. Managers so nice and welcoming! A smooth running machine with amazing food! Highly recommend! (Don't confuse them with another restaurant of a similar name - this is the best, the one and only we'll go to!)
Just wow. We tried a couple restaurants in El Paso and they were all bland. We almost wanted to give up and decided to try this place out. The cook on my blackened trout as well as the seasoning was spot on. My husband also agreed his steak was probably one of the best he's had. Even the pineapple slaw was good although at first I was skeptical.
We finished with the brownie sundae( the texture was more like a cake but still good). The nice thing is they will donate the entire purchase price of the brownie sundae (or float) to their employees in need.
The staff was awesome too can't say enough about this place.
Our waitress was prompt and polite. We had a large group and she took very good care of us. If you like spicy, I highly recommend the Aloha burger with ghost pepper cheese. So yum!
We always have a pleasure experience at any of the Great American Steakhouses. The service is great and the prices are great. The staff is always helpful and friendly.
Food was great. These guys are not shy with their portions! Just Right! Yum. Although, it was lunchtime, so.. several different servers in 45 min lunch experience. I guess everyone is equal and responsible for Grt. Amer. experience. Impression was impersonal, one step above drive thru and way more expensive.
Delicious all the food was well made and in my case I had the 12 oz ribeye. The food was served at an adequate time and the server was super friendly, barely had to wait to be seated since there wasn’t a line.
Great atmosphere and great food. All of our food was very nicely seasoned not too much not too little. I had the chopped steak and it was super tender and perfectly cooked.
Food was great. I had the 16oz rib eye and wife had the rib eye sandwich. First time trying the pickle spears and they were delicious.
The steaks are well seasoned and are delicious! The sides everything was good! Came out in a good time too when it was fairly busy ! Highly recommend!
