Tortilla soup is the best especially on cold days. I disagree with another reviewer that it's just broth etc. Other items are small portions if you're a big eater. I think their rent is probably way too high in this bank building and their food portions suffer because of it. They should relocate to a cheaper place. I'm sure their customers would follow. They're good people and they work very hard. Service is slow at times but again I think the high rent prevents them from hiring more staff.

Love it! Their tortilla soup is the best I've had. Tried a few other things they have to offer and thought it was decent, but I have yet to have a tortilla soup that compares to theirs! The chili with their chips is great too!
This is my go to place for a homestyle Mexican meal. They have a daily lunch special and sometimes offer seasonal items such as capirotada (Mexican bread pudding) during Lent. Service is very attentive, the owner very friendly, even during busy lunch hours. Food tastes good, fresh, and not greasy. The red salsa that comes with the complimentary chips is very tasty!
Eh, it's alright. It's real convenient if you work in the Chase Tower and need a place to go, but the food is not that spectacular, and the service is incredibly slow. The staff hardly ever speaks English (I get it, we are in a Border Town, but most of the Executives that work at Chase would prefer English as I understand it). Everything is so-so.
A wonderful quick homemade lunch, with daily specials and the best tortilla soup around. On Fridays try the homemade potato or lentil soup - delicious!

I am literally obsessed with their tortilla soup. I work nearby and walk to the restaurant to get it often. Their burritos and tortas are also amazing. This place is a must try.
Tortilla soup is the best! Great chile. The owners run this restaurant with a lot of heart! Just like home cooking but downtown.
The food was amazing and the staff was helpful and kind. If I was in El Paso longer, I would eat here again!
