We were welcomed as soon as we entered by our server. I ordered a few appetizers for including tempura. I could tell how food was good, very crispy but light batter. All sushi rolls we ordered were excellent. As I’m from Japan, I am picky about Japanese food, not just sushi. I’m highly recommend this restaurant. Only negative thing was finding parking spots..

Honestly, we came back from a Japan trip 2 weeks ago. Aki Sushi is not just as good as great japanese restaurants, he’s even better. Try the sashimis, they’re melting in your mouth. And the taste is ESPECTACULAR! Congrats from a big traveler, to the chef, and his super friendly team. You’ll see me again

Came here on a Friday night and the food and staff was great. The rolls are big and fresh. I’ve tried a few places in elp but I like this place a lot. The music is great also. Plenty of places for big group seatings and for solo.

One of the best traditional tasting sushi places in El Paso. A quiet location located in a corner of a busy intersection. The place is quiet, clean and beautiful inside. Their tempura is so fresh, lightly crisp with a traditional Japanese taste. The Miso is tasty with sprinkles of chives. Great tasting sushi 🍣 rolls. I highly recommend. They finalize your meal with some sliced 🍊 oranges to clean your palate 😊 $$$$ but well worth it.👍

This is some of the best sashimi I’ve had (especially the tuna belly which I hadn’t tried before)Amazing hand rolls and great attentive and fast service!!! Place is clean and pretty. For dessert they give you a cut up orange which is the perfect cap for the meal. Prices reflect the quality of all the ingredients. I recommend ordering a hot sake

A clean and quality dining experience with simple, unassuming ambiance! It’s All about the Quality of Food and service which to date has been excellent! We usually do the 6-roll special, though we’ve dabbled with most of the other menu items at times. 9 times out of 10 our meal—no matter what is ordered, is accompanied with Miso Soup and a small fresh salad. The sashimi, shrimp, crab and vegetables used in their rolls are of high quality and fresh. The service staff always go above and beyond! They’ve been friendly, helpful and accommodating. We are particularly fond of the consistent personal touches that made us feel ‘remembered’ and welcome* each time we dined there! *Caveat- we recently learned that ownership/leadership has changed hands and simultaneously, wholesale changes have been to wait-staff as well, which we find alarming. We have yet to dine there since these changes have been made, so cannot comment with confidence on whether the changes have altered the service we’re accustomed to, or if those changes have caused a dip in overall quality and/or service.

The absolute best sushi in town. A must-visit I’ve tried most of everything on their menu. They have something for everyone. Most authentic, and freshest sushi I’ve had in El Paso. Prior to COVID, I loved to sit at the sushi bar and converse with the chefs. I’ve personally seen them cut off and throw away fish that other places will still sell. Quality and freshness is key to them here, and it shows. They have some delicious delicacies I haven’t had anywhere else in town. Short ribs, fried rice, hamachi Kama, anything from the kitchen i highly recommend. They have a great variety of sake, Asian beers, and desserts. Ask for a half green tea and half lemonade beverage. You won’t regret it. Place looks immaculately clean, staff is friendly and has become one of my frequent spots to eat. Online ordering is available as well as QR code to pay with ApplePay or GooglePay, without taking out my credit card.

Sushi was so good and very fresh. We got the gyoza as well and it was delicious and flavorful. I was surprised this place wasn't more packed, it's fantastic!
