Drove here today from NE by Sean Haggerty! Well worth the drive, they were so fresh,soft, and delicious. I arrived to late for kolaches but I will def be back!

The donuts at Southern Maid Donut Shop are great. Fluffy and just sweet enough. However, the best part about this place is the service. Everyone has a smile and strives to give you the fastest and friendliest service possible.
My husband and I fell in love with Southern Maid Donuts from the time we moved here to El Paso 1 yr ago and how homemade these donuts are. Their not too sweet and that's perfect seeing my husband is a diabetic and every now and then he likes a little treat.

So Good.... The woman who helped me was so sweet and the donuts were beyond amazing. The orange icing was really good and didn't taste artificial like I have noticed at other shops. There was a good selection to choose from and everything was very fresh and I didn't go until the afternoon. Great little shop!
Southern Maid Donut Shop :). Very friendly staff...my family & I love to come here in the morning for a breakfast croissant sandwich and donuts. It is also the best time to come...so you can get your favorite kind of donut...we happen to love crullers which sell out quickly :( Another good thing here is there chicken salad. Very tasty :)
We agree that this place is better than Krispy Kreme & Dunkin Donuts.
Southern Maid Donuts. I LOVE THEM! The competition just opened up a shop over here on the west side, and they are just tooooo sweet for me. The amount of sugar is just way too much, makes my teeth hurt.
But Southern Maid, now there's some great donuts - Apple Spice will always be my favorite - but boy do they know Chocolate. I do wish a Southern Maid Donut Shop would open up on the West Side - we miss you here!!!
Mising Donuts. When iIam home I go and pick up a donut or two. I am in the middle of no where Afghanistan and look forward to going home in March and enjoying a good donut.

Better Than Krispy Kreme. I used to take donuts to my newsroom staff every Friday. We went through several shops in that time, and in the end, my staff decided to make Southern Maid the official donut for our Friday treats. The glazed are delightful and the mixed box is a treasure trove of delights.
Great service and yummy food! We arrived at 7:20am and had all the options to choose from. We were passing through town and didn’t want just a donut from Dunkin or Krispy Kreme; worth the few extra minutes driving into town!
Love this place. Rick, the owner, is a hoot. Loves to kid around and All of his staff is awesome. I’m going there now. Instead of going to national coffee or doughnut store, I’m going to a local guy giving great food and great coffee. How bout you join us?

We came here on the fourth of July and were helped by Isaiah and Talia! They were so sweet and amazing to us AND to our dog! The donuts and the coffee are great! I personally prefer their cappuccinos but their new iced mocha is very refreshing and delicious. Don't pass up on the opportunity to come to this place because you will get excellent service and you will leave happy you went and sad you had to leave. Thanks Isaiah and Talia! You guys are the best! We'll be coming back!!!!!
The donuts are made fresh and they’re made in an old fashion manner which makes them very filling. The staff is very friendly and informative.
I highly recommend this place for donuts and kolaches. Their lunch burritos are also very good and authentic Mexican food. You are greeted in the morning with a hot donut while they prepare your order. They have good coffee and hot chocolate. It was nice meeting the owner and their service is very fast. I was getting breakfast for myself and my coworkers one morning and they had me in and out very fast which I cannot say the same for the more famous chain place in town.
These are wonderful pastries! The staff are so friendly. No greasy donuts here. Very airy and light. Get their early for Kalachi (breakfast baked in doughnut dough) or order ahead! Everything we have an an appointment in the area, we must stop by!

Love this donut shop. The donuts are amazing. The croissant sandwiches are so good. Their chicken salad is the best in town. Hands down. The customer service is superb. I wish they had a location on the west side. I highly recommend this place to everyone.
Love this place! Not only for the donuts but they also serve a breakfast croissant that's delicious! The staff is very friendly and they attend you quickly. Plus they give you a free glazed donut on any purchase you make. Try it... I'm pretty sure you'll love it just as much as I do.
