Jem is the place to go for breakfast in the East Norriton area and beyond. There are two counters, many tables and booths. Very friendly waitresses who will keep your coffee cup filled. The 50's decor is interesting, and the tabletops have nostalgic 50's trivia Q & A on them. Food is the standard breakfast staples which is good and reasonably priced. Famous for their "Scrapple Stix's" and Bo's sausage gravy over biscuits. Come talk sports with the owner Tony who makes the rounds to visit and greet everyone. At this time, it is cash only. $$
Let’s start with the vibe. This is an old school diner with a 50s theme, exactly what you would see in a period piece. I went here with my grandmother for a 4th of July breakfast.
It was full so the service was a bit slow. It took 40 minutes to get our order off eggs, toast, and pancakes.
That being said it tasted good and it’s located next to a supermarket so it’s a pretty convenient place to go before weekend grocery shopping.

One of those diners that exemplifies what we love in a diner. Fantastic service (even if they r short staffed, everyone is a sweet heart to the clients!), good interior decor, hot coffee, big plates, and delicious breakfast. Hope to be back! (And it's cash only fyi)
Jem is a real restaurant. Staff is extremely friendly. Environment is clean. Parking lot is safe. Food is wonderful. I have been going there for 20+ years. Only once did I send food back for more heating. Very consistent.
The best breakfast any were they cook it the way you like it and the staff is really good. And the place is really cool and clean
We found this place while staying at the Hyatt hotel down the street. The food is really good, but they might not always get your order correct. They ignored my table after giving us drinks,not ordering for 20+ mins. I almost walked out. I am happy my boyfriend made us stay because the food was good. Also the place is really cute. I have been to a 1950's diner downtown Los Angeles. If only this place could have gotten my order correct it would probably be the closest thing to being at that dinner in LA.
