We had the Salmon, Scrambled Eggs, Avocado and the French toast with sausage and egg. Soooo tasty! The vibe was also good. Easy to park.
The food is good but the service could be improved. The lady behind the counter could have been nicer. A smile, and saying please and thank you goes a long way. The male waiter helping us was very nice, though, so that saved the day.
Good ole John Papas Cafe.. I heard it’s an iconic breakfast/brunch/diner spot in town so I had to stop by and check it out. Place was jumping when I walked in which is always a good sign. I went with the Norwegian Smoked Salmon platter and loved it! This thing was massive and almost couldn’t finish. Definitely an item you can split with someone and feel plenty full afterward.
Great spot for breakfast or lunch. Has a diner feel to it. Very friendly staff!
I would have given the atmosphere 5-stars too but the table next to me.... they just kept on listening to music on their phone speaker. Food is solid waitress was great
Very good food, best eggs and home fries I’ve had in a while. Very sweet people as well
Great diner in the Hamptons. Great portion size. Short wait time to be seated during the weekday.
Loved! The decor, the friendly service, the perfect combo of beef gyro, fries and the Andes mint w the check. A classic joint.
Best restaurant in the hamptons! Love it for the no frills all smiles attitude. Oh, and we love the Andres mints!! Classy
Quick, cozy meal. Waffle House of East Hampton. It's decent food. Consistent. Busy enough to have constant movement and fresh food. Simple recipes 😋 I wouldn't choose John Papas above a real sit down restaurant 💯 but on a comparative scale around the East End, I give it a 7 simply because the tables are so close & tight. Food is an 8. Attitude of those sitting so close to me 7! 😆
