I’was so excited to celebrate my birthday at Chucks Place Bar & Grill upon our arrival to Drummond Island! It was their all you can eat Fish fry Fridays and I was pleasantly surprised by its quaint charm in a dated way but most of all, the food was delicious!
I’ve not had poutine in a long while and this was the closest to what they served in Canada across the way. Everything was delicious and the Pollock was to die for indeed! I would recommend this establishment on your visit to the island.
Incredible service and food! The fish bites, burgers and hand cut fries were delicious. Homemade batter for fish bites was light, crispy and not greasy. Beer was ice cold.

Just got a couple mixed drinks that were made to perfection! Great atmosphere and the waitress was fun too!
My burger was very good! The other food also looked good that my friends got. The staff was very friendly, I'd definitely stop by if you're in the area!
Garthlene (sp?) Is a female sole proprietor there for over 30 years. She does a wonderful, warming countenance of welcoming people and thanking them for coming in. The food is excellent. The pour is excellent. The prices are excellent. It's obvious that the patrons who are well known there enjoy this place as well as the first time patron such as this commentator. We had an excellent time there right off the snowmobile trail! Go there.
Great place, great service, and great people. It is a cozy place to have a good meal with family and friends, or just kick back and have a few drinks. Shoot some pool with your friends and enjoy the welcoming atmosphere.
Stopped by to watch UofM play and have a couple beverages. Glad we stopped
