Super super cute little eatery. Sweet potato fries and their magical sauce makes an excellent starter. The sun dried tomato bread is superb. West of Eden sandwich is a gorgeous creation. The Gouda Cheese Burger was great. Took a red velvet muffin and brownie to go, servings were extremely generous and price point was great. Don’t miss this little gem. And shout out to Tessa our sweet server who seemed to have a real passion for the food she was serving.
Was just driving through and found this little gem of a restaurant and so glad I did! The staff was super friendly, the atmosphere very welcoming, and the food was absolutely amazing! Every bite bursted with flavor making me want more. Their soup was also super unique and tasted great. I will definitely be stopping by again when driving near this area and have already recommended the place to friends and family which is not something I do often.
From the food to the customer service this little cafe had it all. Our waitress knew the menu very well and was able to give us some very helpful suggestions when ordering. My husband and I had the Gouda burger, Roasted red pepper soup, bread basket , and desert to share; we were very happy with the taste and presentation of our food. It was clear to us that this establishment puts love into the food they serve, food was served with an inspirational/motivational comment on the plate similar to that found in a fortune cookie.
What a great and unexpected find! A Wonderful atmosphere and kind staff. The food is absolutely delicious and unique in its own way. They provide a healthy meal with flavors at dance in your mouth. I would highly recommend this café.
The absolute best Tomato soup hands down... not to mention all of the other delicious food choices they offer! And to top it off I get an encouraging message on my to go boxes each visit... who doesn’t need positive encouragement in this day and time?! So thankful for this family owned and managed restaurant!!
A must eat in Dothan!
Dothan has alot of places to eat. In fact I dare say it's one of Dothans favorite past times. That being said the River Nile Cafe is absolutely one of the most delicious places I've ate here. To start with the onion rings were amazing perfect amount of salt and just perfect I should have definitely order the bigger portion of onion rings because they were just that good. I had the mushroom sandwich which normally I would go for a burger or something more but I was beyond satisfied with this! Mushrooms have never tasted so good. Even if you dont like mushrooms...you just might like this. And the garlic aioli sauce was perfect pair.
10/10 wonderful food, great lunch date place, all around delicious!
This is a great little restaurant. Excellent food and service. The bread on this sandwich was amazingly fresh and soft. I don’t remember the name, but it’s the one with grilled chicken and Brie. The skillet fries are awesome.
Very nice. Great atmosphere, the food is excellent, the service is outstanding.
Quaint atmosphere, good service and delicious sandwiches. Will be back!
