I got a chicken tenders basket and it was bussin. Service is amazing. People are so nice and friendly. Place has its own parking lot. Depends on what you get but food can be expensive. This meal was not too bad though.
Five out five. We stopped by for dinner, and not a single person regretted our visit. All four people from our group enjoyed the food, the service and good atmosphere. Ribs, shrimp kebab, fish sandwich, and tropical salad were delicious. I was visiting the town and know for sure where I'll go for lunch next time. Good job, keep it up, guys. Cheers
Excellent gyros, the service was great. I chose this restaurant because it was so close to WCU, and it did not disappoint. I will be back for sure.
We have always eaten at Kostas when visiting WCU and they have never let us done. It was the perfect setting for our graduation celebration lunch. My favorite is the Eggplant, my family loves the burgers, grilled chicken and Alfredo's.
This is the first time I have been here since it was redone. They no longer have servers. You enter and order your food off the menu board, like a fast food place. The food here is NOT fast food and is very good. We ordered their eggplant subs. They are just as good as I remembered. After you pay for your dinner, they give you a number. You just place it on your table and wait for someone to bring you your food. Very nice set up.
We got small Greek salads. It was the definition of small. It's a basic salad, and the ingredients should be inexpensive. The price of that salad high. The bowl it was served in was a bowl from the 1970s, as were the plastic cups given to us for drinks. There were marks on the cup I was given, and I asked for a clean one. I was told it is clean and they are all like that. The place was busy, so it shouldn't be that they don't make enough to afford decent dishes and sundry. The bathrooms were clean, but there were actual lines to use them. I could go on, but the point was made.

The food is delicious with large servings and well worth the price! It’s definitely not like other expensive restaurants, where you only get a small amount of food. I am definitely going back when in town to watch this awesome WCU CATS!!!

So the way that Kostas works is you place your order at the counter, then take a seat at a table with a number that they give you. I ordered the chicken parm with a fountain drink. We got our food within five minutes after ordering. The food was excellent, and the chicken was a lot bigger than I expected! The food was really good, and the service was absolutely amazing. The people at the front counter were very kind and patient, and super friendly. There was someone working in the dining room that cleaned the tables and offered to refill peoples’ drinks. I ended up needing a to-go container, which I was easily able to ask for. I would love to come back to this place and try more of their menu!
We rode the Great Smoky Railroad to town. We rushed to get here because we thought we would be rushing to eat and get back on time. We were wrong. The service at Kostas was fast !!! Our food arrived quickly and was great!!! The staff was very friendly and attentive!!! I highly recommend eating here when in town. A 12 out of 10.
This place never fails every time I visit Franklin North Carolina. I have to come here. No Italian restaurant no matter how expensive or popular they are. They cannot top their chickenparm . The customer service is absolutely outstanding.
