This was absolutely amazing. I was in from out of town and wanted something authentic to Detroit. What I found was absolutely Heaven. You want gourmet Italian sandwiches or deli meat and cheeses? Do not overlook this spot. My friend and I were in town from almost 3 hours away on some other business but did a little searching for good sandwiches to eat. Google did not disappoint by recommending this place. First and foremost there was convenient parking. There are not many tables to dine in but we waited and luckily right before our food was ready a table was available. (Grateful we didn't have to eat in the car)..... So be patient if you want to eat there.
My friend and I both had the "Zio Freddo’s Got Serious Beef sandwich" and a strawberry Italian soda ...... So amazing. The beef melts in your mouth, with a mild kick. (I can't eat it if it's too spicy. It was perfect) I haven't had an Italian soda since I was a little kid... Since my grandmother was still with us. I'd recommend ordering one. The staff was so friendly and helpful!! This is an authentic Italian deli. I can't wait until my next visit to try something different. Thank you for a great experience!!

Picked up the Chop Chop salad for lunch & it's absolutely delicious! The veggies taste so fresh and their house balsamic dressing pairs really perfectly with all the flavors -- such a great option for a healthy mid-day energy boost.
Nice variety of sandwhiches with fun names. You can find some out of state craft beers. The Italian Beef sandwhich was tasty.
Delicious! It was so easy to order online and pick up. I think the price point is perfect. I loved the meatball sub. If I had more time, I would’ve loved to sit out in their patio area.
Quite possibly the best meatball sandwich I have ever had in my life. The meat was super flavorful and seasoned perfectly. The cheese and bread were equally as good and as fresh as can be. You definitely can taste the quality here and with reasonable prices as well. I am looking forward to come to Rocco’s again many more times as everything on their menu looks equally delicious. This is a top tier Italian deli in Detroit, look no further.
This is one of the best sandwich shops in the city, with a staff that genuine cares about high quality and good service. The passion for Italian food is on display in every aspect, from the perfect and focused menu to the deli counter featuring high quality meats and cheeses, to the perfect bar and coffee experience. You feel like family and you cannot go wrong. The meatball sub is perfection and the Love Letter to the Corner Deli is a genuinely good homage to the classic Michigan party store sub. Hint: add banana peppers to make it flawless.
This place will Rocco your world. Each sandwich could probably feed 2. Always check to see what desserts are available too. Got some coconut macaroons today that were BOMB. Fun selection of import wines, deli case full of top notch meats and cheeses also. Must visit. I will dream about my prosciutto sandwich tonight no doubt.
Holy heck you need these sandwiches inside of you. My choice was SERIOUS BEEF. Was not even slightly disappointed. Super nice place.
