Support your local MI farmers and biz folks by shopping here! If you need fresh and organic produce, jams, peanut butter, chips, maple syrup, cheese, etc. you can get that all here. Not only that, if you're hungry, you can order a cup of coffee and a freshly-prepared sandwich. There's just a couple seats for dine-in but it's not usually packed with folks. Plenty of street parking and the Ouizi flower mural by the side of the building makes this an ultimate pit-stop!

There is literally only one bad thing about this place...and it is that I can't come everyday. Yea, it's that good. Had two sandwiches that were UNREAL delicious. Follow that up by picking up some What Up Dough frozen cookie dough and some sea salt caramel ice cream...basically it was the best saturday ever. I love this place, I look forward to coming back as much as humanly possible.

Fantastic little store selling goods directly from Farmers and producers in Michigan. They have the beat olive oil around from a family in Ann Arbor and they have the motherloaf bakery in Tuesdays and Wednesdays. They also make sandwiches.

The homemade sandwiches were amazing. Great coffee too. It’s pretty small inside, so keep that in mind if you plan on sitting down for lunch.

Homemade sandwiches and salads made with ingredients from local farms. Sells fresh meats, fruits, and vegetables from local farmers. I can't recommend this place enough!!

If you haven’t been here then you should check it out. They have excellent food but it’s tiny so plan accordingly.

This place is small, but everything that they have there seems to be of great quality. They have some fresh produce along with frozen meat. The pantry items they sell are unique and all delicious sounding. They have a lot of cool items that you can't find anywhere else.

Just when you think you know Detroit, it surprises you again. This place is a small grocery and sandwich shop, but it is packed from floor to ceiling with all kinds of organic, local, and/or interesting (but foreign) wine, beer, produce, meat, and preserves, most of which I'd never heard of. The prices are high but I suppose that's to be expected for high quality artisan products. Some cool finds. There's both indoor and outdoor seating, pour-your-own drip coffee, and spacious, clean bathrooms in the back. Did I mention this place was tiny and both a grocery and "coffeehouse"? My friend was satisfied (not thrilled) with her coffee, but I couldn't stand my miso pickled-ginger yogurt - it was liquid, watery, not yogurt at all! I'd planned to buy more products (the uncured bacon was calling my name) but was thrown off by the combo of the lacking quality of that yogurt and the high prices. Pro tip: They have a $5 card minimum, which bites if you're two friends stopping in for a coffee and a yogurt, but we probably weren't using the place as they intended?? I will definitely be back to explore this place more, and recommend it for exactly that - exploratory groceries. They have a small but neat farmer's market out front on Thursday afternoons.
