Lunch service is fast a efficient. Free parking for patrons behind the building and the food was amazing. I recommend the lentil burger.
I started coming here for art shows in the mid nineties in my adolescent years, then (as they once had a smoking section in the back) occupied space as a teen, and all along enjoyed their food! Thankfully, as has been the case with many restaurants in the area, the quality has never diminished and has always maintained its signature dishes. The Cass Cafe is now an institution that should be viewed as an example of what a Detroit dining experience should be!
Absolutely great find! Good food, ambience and the service is something i was very very impressed by. Definitely recommend and will come back for the food, price, lovely staff and the general vibe of the place.
Simple little cafe by the University. Wonderful quiet place to study.
Vegans: only two options. I was expecting more as it said that it is vegan online.
The brocoli soup (vegan) is horrible.
The coconut curry (vegan) is excellent and I highly recommend it. Even for non vegan.
Good presentation of dishes. Friendly staff.
Went for a romantic Valentine's dinner, and that's definitely what I got. The atmosphere of this place made us feel like we were dining in an art gallery. The food was good, the music choice was great, the staff was phenomenal. Can't think of a thing that could be better
I lived in Cass Corridor growing up and on and off for 48 years.
Cass Cafe has been very good to me good food good friends. Great atmosphere. Shout out to Dave Robert's for showing my artwork here
came for the total experience. The posthumous art show for Detroit artist Rico Africa, and the beer battered fish and chips.
Sorry no photos. I did create a live video on Facebook live.🍟
