This place helped me out with boxes when I was moving, I really appreciate it. It's not the best place to go to for your basic needs but as any convenience store, it's convenient and it's there. There does seem to be a problem with people outside always asking for money, just don't listen to them. More often than not they're just people living nearby trying to bum money off you so they can use the accumulated pocket change of 10 people to purchase what they want so they don't lose their own money. Some will also get up in your face, so stay out of people's business, don't make eye contact, get in, do your business, get out. Easy as that. Try their cookies, too. They're pretty good and decently priced for cookies.
You know, a year or two ago I would have rated this store with fewer stars, but now I can honestly say they deserve (4) out of (5) stars. I live down the street, so I visit this 7-Eleven every single day, no joke. Many days I will stop in two or more times. You're going to get extreme opinions on this store from both sides, like you would anywhere else, and because I shop here so frequently, I feel compelled to leave a review to kind of "set the record straight" with the truth, and what's not. We're all intelligent enough to realize that people leave reviews when they have ANY kind of bad experience, and tend to leave a positive review ONLY after they have had a super outstanding experience, leaving the store with bad reviews outweighing the good ones. Overall this store has improved so, so much. The customer service has always been good with the female staff (they're all so sweet & attentive), and even the male staff has improved quite a bit. And honestly, they keep the overall cleanliness of the store pretty darn decent, considering the disrespectful & disgusting cast of characters that come through this store...the staff has a lot to contend with in the fight to keep the place in decent condition, being in the location that they're in! The one issue this store could work on would be the speed at which they get people checked out - there's a bit too much dilly-dallying by everyone, and it's their job to keep the line moving, and get people out of there as quickly as possible...in this day-&-age, people are ALWAYS in a hurry, and despite what some people believe, the world does NOT revolve around them, and their slowness effects everyone in line behind them... MOVE 'EM OUT!!
I go here daily and I really enjoy the staff.
Customer tried to buy gum with a $100 dollar bill, after cashier said she didn’t have the change he said “open up the drawer to check” and cashier responded she would open his mouth with a baseball bat!! 5 stars all the way
This place is a neighborhood staple. The staff deals with everything from homelessness to assuring the community has a store. Much respect this is not an easy neighborhood to have a 711 at.
Super friendly employees specifically Mellat is always very helpful and genuine lets me know how to save money on the deals/specials. This location is one of my favorite 7-eleven to stop by because of the staff mostly
