First it’s inside the airport so if anyone has big expectations it’s better to lower then a notch. It wasn’t busy and it was near closing time. Fast service and what made the atmosphere entertaining was the “chaca-chaca” conversation. After all I received what was expected.
I was apprehensive with all the other low reviews. They didn't have pinto beans or brown rice, but it was the usual chicken bowl I get every other location. They do NOT have the Qdoba Rewards (no scanning, no redeeming). There were 10 people working, the line went fast and food prep area looked good.
The service was good but the food was better. It was a good price for good quality, which can't be said of many airport restaurants.
This Qdoba is located at Denver International Airport - I was there about 30 minutes prior to closing. The food is pretty good and portion sizes are decent because I ask for everything - a chicken bowl with queso, guac, vegetables, pico de gallo, cheese and some other ingredients. I do not think they had sour cream and only other topping at the time.
I also asked for chips, which is $2.20 and wasn't aware about that - thought it was free. Overall about $15 for a chicken bowl and chips.
The service is always nice. The food is pretty good. Sometimes the cheese tastes gritty but not today. It was on point.
Bowl: Rice, Black Beans, Guacamole, Melted/Shredded Cheese, Pulled Pork
Best costumer service I have got all day for food INSIDE Denver International Airport. Quick. Easy. And friendly staff!
Busy airport food service. Not as busy as say Chic-Fil-A, but still busy. My service was fine from the employee's but I could tell that the teenage girls working the register were not as friendly and would rather be elsewhere. The food was good. I had a chicken burrito as I figured that this would be filling enough to keep me going until I was back home. The price was fair for the burrito and for being in an airport.
My service was good and the food was good. The place was clean if sad and very empty.
However, the extreme reduction of toppings on offer is a great disappointment. I always preferred QDoba over other similar chains. I practically lived on QDoba in college (they were open til 3am, had awesome food, and were across the street from my studio). If you don't opt for meat of some kind, there's really nothing to put on your bowl or burrito. I know the pandemic has caused a lot of issues, but I doubt I'll be returning to a QDoba again anytime soon if this lack continues. Truly sad because it was a vegetarian smorgasbord before.
I visited at rush hour but the line was moving. Decent portions and healthy choices.
So the queso was not great here taste and temp wise, kinda cold burrito overall. Chips were old. But their customer service was great after the fact. Updated from 3 to 4 stars, as they seemed genuinely concerned that it wasn't up to snuff at this location, and from what I know of Qdoba, they're probably improving. I think I have another flight through here in a few weeks, will check it out again.
