I have driven by Ohana at least a dozen times and finally made the effort to stop in. WOW! I ordered the poke bowl (half rice/half kale salad) and thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff couldn't have been friendlier! I will definitely be back soon!
The tastiest and freshest poke I have had in the states. Everything on the menu is mindblowing, and the owner Louis is the man !! By far one of the best lunch spots in Denver.
Great little family-owned place with some delicious food. Our Kale salad with the mango-lime sauce tasted amazing & their teriyaki sauce is delicious too! My son Jaedyn loves the tastey & affordable Musubi's (...He sometimes helps make them too!). Louie, Regan, & Maddie are some amazing people, we've known them for 10+ years & they've always accepted us as family. Thank yall for the amazing food!
This was by far the best Hawaiian food I've had coast to coast.
The Spam Musibi being $4 is a great grab on the go. The marinated pork was absolutely delicious I couldn't stop eating it, after I had finished my kale salad (I normally don't prefer eating kale) it was very light and had a great flavor from the mango lime ginger dressing. I drank their milk coffee which was perfect, not too sweet nor bitter.
Over all a great experience and they are great about sending food out timely from the kitchen. While also selling merch and Kimchi made local.
Having lived in Hawaii over half a decade I always enjoy Hawaiian food on the mainland. Got the Kalua Pork plate, the pork was the star of the plate, just like pork in Hawaii. The Mac salad was good, a little different than what I like but good. The Kale salad thing was good but didn’t belong, I’ve never had Kale salad on a Hawaiian dish. The rice was great too, had some different Furikake I hadn’t seen before. Overall pretty solid, will fill you up, could’ve done without the Kale salad and weird corn salsa would be my only criticism. I’d like to try the poke next time for sure.
I got the Kalua Pork Mix Plate and added Spicy Poke. It was exactly what I needed. Though there was an odd, almost fishy, aftertaste somewhere in there, I finished the plate. It would pop up in random bites, so I’m unsure what the culprit was. BUT the macaroni salad…there are no words. Creamy, garlicky goodness. Everything was so delicious and worth the money. Would definitely recommend!
This place deserves its high rating. I had the spicy tuna poke bowl and it was superb. The Hawaiian Sun drinks were a new, tasty experience as well.
The food was incredibly tasty however I really wish the portions were a bit bigger especially for the price. The food was 5 stars along with service and atmosphere but the portion size is what knocked it down to a 4 for me.
I got the Hawaiian sliders and the wife got the poke bowl, again everything was tasty just not enough for the price
Stopped by on my way to the Ed Sheeran concert. I hadn't eaten there before so I asked what they're known for and ordered that. It was the best spicy tuna poke that I've ever had! Made my day! Thank you!
We tried Ohana Island Kitchen after passing by a few times and it didn’t disappoint! The pulled pork was so tender and flavorful. I loved the mac salad and the spam musubi - we can’t wait to come back!
Our first time here was so great! We had never had Hawaiian food, so we were recommended the tuna with rice. It was so good! The tuna melted in our mouth‘s, and the rice and sauce was delicious. We had a nice Lacroix water with it. Next time, I think I will get a bigger platter, as this was a filling portion but still a little small. The prices were not too expensive either.
Food was very good and fresh! The poke bowls are pretty simple with just fish and rice. I had the regular sized bowl and when it arrived I initially wondered how small the mini would be. Overall it was a good sized portion and filled me up. I ordered the spicy salmon. I just wish there was more to the bowl than just the fish.
