Jalpeno rice is "kickin"! Not spicy/ hot, just kickin good.
Came in for a beer, figured a snack wouldn't hurt, so accidentally ordered (sides), the jalapeño rice & the baked beans. Ate that & then realized that "perfect protien" deal. Couldn't eat the rest of the day lol.

* Update; came in yesterday just for a beer, but once again ordered a snack. Special was a foot-long w/ green chilli.

The hot dog had a distinct smokey flavor, the bun is obviously made on site (not a wonderbread wonder), the green chilli as good as any.
So shocked and sad to hear this place is closing, that it didn't survive the pandemic. Such a great neighbourhood place too! What a bummer.
Simple neighborhood pub. We pretty much just go here for the patio. Usually a good selection of draft pours. The smoker smells really good, but I'm vegetarian so usually just pick at a basket of fries or whatever. Wouldn't try to get a solid veggie meal here though there are some options. Awesome service - super friendly staff.
Nice selection of beers in bottle and on tap. I had an amazing cucumber sour beer. I also tried the brisket sandwich. It had a nice smoky flavor but unfortunately was really dry and tough to swallow. The fries were excellent, they had a nice crisp outer layer and could still get a nice coating of salt and pepper.
This is a great little local haunt, with strong drinks and good beer specials. Food is your average bar quality, but the people-watching from the patio makes it better. Come on a Friday or Saturday for karaoke and some surprisingly good musical talent on display.
The food is delicious, fresh, and you can tell a lot of care goes into making it. It’s a great option for some tasty comfort food. The salads are great and the sides are outstanding!
