This place is top notch! We had a little bit of a wait, but not too bad. It was about 20 minutes, even though it was packed. Once we were in, we noticed everything looked delicious, and were really looking forward to our meal. We really loved that the hostess and one of the waiters were older, as it felt like the restaurant appreciated having them there. The hostess was a classy lady!
We ordered the chicken and waffles, and the “classic” pancake breakfast. Everything was absolutely delicious! The chicken was so crispy and delicious, waffles were crisp and perfect. The pancakes were also great! I got the double blueberry, and they even had the blueberries in them. I had a side of biscuits and gravy, which were also great, covered with their tasty gravy.
One thing I’d like to add, is their prices. With so many places taking advantage and having sometimes outrageous pricing, Morning Story was the fairest priced we’ve been to here so far. Amazing place overall, definitely coming back, and often!
Our family visited The Morning Story while visiting Denver. There were 19 of us 😳 and the staff from the person greeting us to the server were spectacular. Our server made grand suggestions all while entertaining our 18 month old. He did all of this with ease. His patience and recommendations made this hungry, happy bunch extremely happy. Our food was GOODT!!! Yes GOODT! That’s better than GOOD. It was flavorful, filling and the delivery was quick. We were quickly sat upon arrival with menus in hand. I can’t wait to return. It was absolutely a pleasure. The management came by our table to check on us and had small conversation with us. The visit was delightful from the beginning to the end. I can’t wait to return. It was absolutely a pleasure.
Great food and bevvys from this breakfast/brunch hot spot with decent prices and good portions. $15 for a mimosa flight and then the BLTA toast was great- and one of the best priced avocado toasts in the area. Nice mix of heavy and light items at not too bad prices for the area. The drinks are the difference maker though. Service was just ok.
Great breakfast place! I really like the mimosa flights and the chicken and waffles. Not to mention the maple bacon was the best thing I've ever had!
Great local breakfast joint. We went two days in a row. I had really delicious avocado toast (pictured), and OMG amazing green chile eggs benedict (also pictured but not as clear). My companion had bacon and eggs. Good bacon. Great coffee. Friendly service.
When we first walked in, I got the Greek diner vibe. Heard a Greek accent, but no Greek food on the menu, sadly.
The service was amazing ask for Jade when you go she’s great food was 10/10 I had the cinnamon roll French toast eggs bacon hash browns and white toast 🔥🔥🔥 and the mimosas are going to do what they need to do the best I had the flights mimosas 4 different flavors 3-4 were great definitely going to be coming back 🥰
This place is so good! The sausage gravy hits every time I order it. The pancakes and waffle were delicious and so fluffy with the crispy edges. Recommend the blueberry compote! Chicken fried steak plate very filling. One of my new repeat spots.

I could say it is the best waffle I've ever had in my life. Everything was delicious and Oscar gave us a really good service!!
Good breakfast/ brunch spot that was pretty busy. Had the morning story combo with the berry cream cheese topping and cinnamon roll topping. Food came out fast and was delicious can't go wrong with French toast, my server was good and the establishment was nice and clean.
This is a cute spot. I ordered avocado toast on gluten-free bread topped with field greens. It was ok. It wasn't very tasty in the sense of seasoning and flavor. Bit it's toast - so whatever. The staff is friendly and service was fast.
