This place is special! If you want great sushi that is prepared with care you can't beat this place. It is a family business that work hard for their customers. By the way on a cold winter night the beef curry udon is just what a body wants. I have heard people complain that it is in a strip mall; well it is but you will have a great meal that was prepared with care.

We are so excited to find this place! All of the rolls we ordered were fresh and delicious. From the $5 spicy tuna & spicy California to the $12 spicy Kelvin Roll, the ingredients were quality & creative. Everyone was very friendly. Looking forward to going back.
Great sushi for the area... Little slow with the service but they seemed under staffed for a Saturday.
One of my favorite sushi spots! Reasonably priced, always fresh. You wouldnt think it by the location, but it is one of the best in the metro.
Love this place! If you can let the sushi chefs make you want they want, what they make wont be on the menu but will be amazing!! By far the best sushi place around and prices are reasonable!!!
Top 5 in my book. Small tucked away place but very good sushi. The service for drinks or extras might faulter because I believe english is a 2nd language but every piece of sushi and every bowl of miso I have had has been excellent. Very good presentation as well. Good for when you want sushi alone or a date, may not have room for parties larger than 4 if they are already packed.

Great food, made by chefs that really take pride in their food. Great customer service because they make you feel important. This is the best restaurant in Thornton. And one of the best Sushi places in Colorado.
I only found Sushi Tokoro in Thornton during COVID and they had only been open for take out [or reservations only] for a lot of it. I had tried a few dishes to go but was never impressed. I wanted to go back and try dishes that wouldn’t be as good to go. Started with the gyoza and my go to: hamachi and ebi sushi. The gyoza was really good crunchy and not greasy. The hamachi was fresh but one of the pieces was cut a bit oddly but that made it pretty thick so very nice fish to rice ratio. Both dishes were plated beautifully. For my entrée I had been wanting non-sushi Japanese food. So I got the tonkatsu curry rice the tonkatsu was really good. I’m honestly not sure how they made it. It was crunchy but without the super sharp panko cutting up my upper palette. The curry was pretty good but it was a little thinner and more soupy than I prefer. Overall it helped to eat these dishes fresh. I can’t wait for the weather to be a bit cooler and tonkotsu becomes appealing.
Great place! The food was great for the price. Extremely friendly staff who helped us with all of our questions. Family owned and operated! The Chef came out to our table to ensure we liked everything. We'll be back!
Best sushi I have ever had, I have now been there maybe 6 times. Reservations recommended. The Ramen is amazing! It is beautifully plated, ingredients are fresh and noodles are delicious! I moved and I can’t find anywhere closer thats just as good so we drive an hour out for the best.
One of THE BEST sushi places in town! This family owned shop makes sushi out of this world! Everything is always fresh and the staff is always friendly and alert. Ask the chef what he recommends and you will not be disappointed! Don't forget the fried banana at the end of your email! Perfect topper to a perfect dinner!
Reservations recommended, but walk in diners are welcomed based on seating availability. We almost didn’t go in, because of signs about reservations, but they did not have full reservations and were able to accommodate my girlfriend and me. Best sushi experience I have ever had. Exceptionally fresh and authentic dishes round out excellent sushi menu that is constantly evolving. Was able to taste test new pork cutlet sushi roll which was excellent. Fantastic service and unique offerings will have me coming back many times.

Great sushi and ramen! Very fresh. Options for vegetarians and vegans too. The fried zucchini sushi was crunchy and flavorful. They made a veggie ramen just for us by subbing the meat for more veggies. Very kind workers :)
Hands down the best sushi I've had, beats out Disney any day!!! This is a family owned restaurant, with wonderful classic Japanese dishes. Aside from sushi, there are skillet meals, and the red bean cakes are perfect to finish any meal.
Edit: Still my favorite place for sushi, still 5 stars! Love this place so much!

Very delicious sushi prepared by a very sweet Japanese couple. A must try. Spicy Peterson's roll has a whole Jalapeno hollowed out and filled with crab and deep fried with Tuna. Amazing flavors
This was such a great experience. Delicious, expertly crafted, sushi rolls from a friendly family owned restaurant. My wife loved her Buddha roll and she does NOT usually like sushi. And check out this dragon roll!
