Chan's Inn is the best chinese restaurant in Denver. Hot and sour soup is FANTASTIC there, I would buy a tub if I could. Fried rice is bomb. Egg rolls are huge for a dollar and some change. The waiters go above and beyond to make sure we are satisfied with our food and make sure our beverage is filled when low. Overall, ive always had great experience at Chan's inn. If youre craving chinese food, this is the spot to be.
I hate! How i love this place so much! I live way south of this place, but i tend to drive my way up to thornton at least once a week just to eat here. The menu is superb, can't go wrong with anything you order!
This is the best Chinese food my mother and I have had in a few years. Not since we ate in Washington DC. The amount of food you get for lunch was incredible. We ate for cheap, and yet I still had enough food leftover to take with me.
The egg rolls were light and crisp, and the vegetables inside still had a little crunch to them. I had the sesame chicken; the batter and sauce were nice and lightweight. All was super delicious! We even had a pot of Jasmine tea that was beautifully aromatic and delicious.
Highly recommend this place. The new owners are super nice.
The food was so good we had to go back today! We had both the Hot and Sour as well as the Wonton soups today, delicious! It was included with lunch along with crab Rangoon wonton, crispy egg roll and entree. I ordered the Cashew Chicken and my daughter got Beef and Broccoli that she had them make spicy. Fantastic!!
We also got to try the special egg rolls, that were crispy and moist on the inside, you must try it.
They also redesigned the menu and added new items.
What an awesome find! I just moved here from Virginia and have eaten at many restaurants serving Chinese food and this is the best I have had in years. I ordered Hunan chicken and my daughter got Sesame chicken and both were tender, not a heavy sauce that some places do, but perfection! The egg rolls and cream cheese wontons were perfectly crisp, the veggies inside the egg roll were also perfect and not mushy.
We also got a pot of hot tea which happens to be our favorite flavor, jasmine. I highly recommend this place. This is truly an asset to Thornton and the state of Colorado.
The new owners are amazing! The food was delicious as well. I’d highly recommend!
This is our go to for Chinese. Everything is delicious my family and I all ordered different entrees and shared hard to pick a favorite. It is our 18 year wedding anniversary coming up so went to celebrate . I knew we would not be disappointed. We have been going to this restaurant for years and the new owners have really outdone themselves. Highly recommend trying it but I'm warning you it's addicting. It's one of those places when you leave you think about what you are going to get next time. Friendly staff great service and food is da bomb.
We got take out and this was the best Chinese food we've had in years both in Detroit Metro and Denver Metro. Prices are incredibly fair, high quality meats, lots of fresh veggies and portion sizes large. Flavor of every single entre and sure dishes exceeded all expectation. Our new Chinese joint in CO!
Love this place. New owners but seems like same recipes. Same menu for now. So far the beef with veggies and pork fried rice is the same. Hope it stays that way. Hot sour soup is a little more sour but still good. Sesame chicken is also still good but made spicier than before.
Went in tried the Mongolian Beef and Drunken Noodles. I must say it's the best I ever had. So I had to ask the chef and ask how many years experience he has. he answered 25+ years. you can tell with every single bite there's love put into it so much flavor and texture. meat so tender. fairly priced and affordable. for appetizers try the fried dumplings and teriyaki beef on a skewer. and if you cannot decide order the appetizer sampler you get EVERYTHING!!!! I recently tried United Chinese just down the street the breading in their sesame chicken came off without me even touching it. never again. chans sesame chicken is super crispy and will never fall apart I can guarantee it. closest thing to a Michelin star restaurant for a Chinese restaurant you will ever find. went on a Friday night . you will not be disappointed. try it once and you will never try another Chinese restaurant.....that addicting
my fiancé and I had a fantastic experience here, everything was great, the drunken noodle we started off was to die for, mouth watering sesame chicken. wait staff was very friendly and the restaurant was very clean, best Chinese food in town. !!
Food is decent enough as far as portion size & flavor goes - however, the amount of meat to vegetable ratio is fairly poor. In a Kung Pao chicken order, it was 80% veg & 20% meat. Not saying it should be 100%, but they just skimp on the protein here.
I have been looking lo mein like this foe a while now. This was such tasty food my whole family loved our time here.
