Amazing food, friendly staff, and very affordable. The best shredded beef hard tacos I've ever had! We will be making this one of our regular spots!

Good chips, mediocre salsa and not the best cheese dip but the TACOS are exceptional. The steak ones were amazing. The chicken was good too. Definitely add cheese. On point.

So Good. This is probably some of the best Mexican food I've had (colorado style). I finished eating about 45 minutes ago, drove home and am now sitting here reminiscing about the food that is making my belly nice and warm. My mouth is still tasting the food and it's a good thing. Margarita's were sweet and strong. So that was the positive. The weird thing about this place is it resides somewhere between sit-down restaurant and fast food place. The food by no means is fast food quality or price. The service left a bit to be desired. They may have been short staffed but the people that were busting ass were really busting ass and the ones that weren't were,...allowing the others to pick up the slack. Pay at the counter when your done otherwise you'll be waiting forever.

Long before the LoHi nickname became commonplace, 32nd and Zuni was one of Denver's great old school corners. OK, it still is a great corner, though in a much newer way-- and anytime a neighborhood gentrifies as quickly as this one has, old businesses shut down and new ones open up that completely change the face--and soul--of a neighborhood. For example, now gone for some time is a place I wrote about just a couple years back: Loncheria Mexicana , which served, among other Colorado Mexican standards, a quality, smothered carne asada burrito. The funky, small space sits unoccupied again, but I can't imagine anything quite as--well, Mexican-- will replace it. There is nothing necessarily wrong with that, but it's worth pointing out--and thinking about: a unique, diner-style, family run Mexican lunch spot is gone for good. Closed and Closed again Looking back some years, the Aztec Sol was one of the first attempts at some of this gentrification-- a sort of edgy mix of Mexican bar with a

Came here to get the menudo, and it did not disappoint. I'm from Houston, and my gf is from Los Angeles. We both agree this is the best menudo we've ever eaten at a restaurant before. My gf is not use to being served toasted bread with soup, but that's how I know it was authentic. I just left full, and I'm regretting not ording another bowl to go for later.

Good food and service. Had a combo plate, chili relleno was good, smothering sauce good and still tasted the same as before. Beef burrito was good but a little heavy on the salt. Enchilada was good.

I have been eating here for years now and the food has not changed, it is still very delicious! This last time in noticed the burrito seemed a little smaller than I remember. Either way I will continue to come.

I'm from El Chuco and they actually asked if I wanted buttered, toasted bread with my menudo instead of the usual tortillas (like we do in EPT)! Love this place. The menudo and Margaritas were so good. This place is a must.

My husband and I have been coming here for 22 years. The food quality and flavor have been consistent all this time. We look forward to seeing the servers, many of whom have been there as long as we've been customers. I highly recommend the rice and beans. There's no other place that compares. My other favorite is the Carne Asada tacos. They're just as good as I've had in Mexico.

1st time here, actually came to the area for another spot, but they didn't offer dine in (WHY??), needless to say it was a blessing in disguise, this place is 🔥🔥🔥. Friendly, fast service, GREAT food at good prices! We had everything from the Nachos, Street tacos, Chorizo/Huevos and more, it was all tasty! While we didn't order 1, they seem to make yummy Micheladas as well! If you're in the area I'd certainly check them out‼️💯✌🏽

Denver's La Grande Mexicana is a hidden gem that has won my heart with its delectable Mexican food and lively ambience. The inviting scent of spices and the vivacious energy of a fiesta welcomed me right away. Let's now discuss the main attraction, the cuisine. The cuisine at La Grande Mexicana is a delicious voyage through the genuine tastes of Mexico, presenting a variety of dishes to satisfy every craving.

Without a doubt, the best Mexican food, and best dining we've had from alaska to Mexico. Clean food, crisp veggies, great portions, expieranced and attentive waitstaff, child friendly, authentic and made to order food.

I’ve been coming here for over 24 years. As a Denver native- it’s one of my go to spots for Mexican food. The tortas are divine and the Chile relleno is also delicious. They also have smothered burritos that are delicious too! The owner is incredibly kind and attentive and I’m so happy they are still there despite the gentrification. This block used to be a Mexican neighborhood but everything but Patzcuaro, Rosales and La Mexican has changed. Stop in and eat some yummy food, fondita style.

The best and been around since I was a kid! Their green chile is the best and they have an amazing vegetarian option. Can’t beat it!
