I was going to go to post oak and they were packed and sold out of all kinds of stuff. I'm so glad they were. Ragin' Hogs BBQ is freaking delicious. The meat is so tender and delicious. I may have found a new favorite.
Went there with my son and his dad love it this is our second time and we enjoy everything they made especially the green Chile stew now I also love buttermilk pie
Perfect half a rack of ribs. Loved the sweet bbq sauce, and got delicious sides of mac and cheese, greens, cole slaw, and corn bread. The buttermilk pie is amazing too. Family run for 9 years. Definitely stop by!
I came to eat with my wife it’s was delicious. Nice people that own it.
The brisket was very tasty and tender and the portion size was very generous I'd have to say this was like the top three brisket I've ever had. My son had the ribs and they were very good as well. The prices are very fair and the portions were generous, would definitely go back again.
Yep, give this place five stars all the way. What a great place to eat. I went here last Saturday and it was my birthday dinner. We arrived at 5, the place closes at 6 and they were almost out of meat, so they shut down and we had the whole place to ourself. It was so great.
The husband and wife (wish I remember their names) were so wonderful to us. We ate so much food and took plenty of it home. The brisket was great, but my favorite of everything was the green chili. Wow! The only thing I wasn't totally in love with was the cornbread, but it was adequate. I would HIGHLY recommend Ragin' Hog BBQ to anyone looking for really good barbeque in Denver.
The wife typed in "best bbq in Denver" and this place popped up. This small locally owned BBQ joint did not disappoint. I was in food coma by the end of the meal. We tried many items from the menu and every bit of it left us wanting more. From the plate full of good sized meaty ribs, to the stuffed pulled pork sandwich, and all the sides. We were in heaven. The meats were juicy and the light seasoning on the meat allowed the flavors of the meat to shine by themselves. They also had a variety of different sauces that transported you to other regions of the country. My wife talked me into trying the Brunswick stew. After I tasted it I couldn't get enough of it. One caveat. Don't wait till the last hour before closing as they start to run out of main dishes so they have less wasted food.
We absolutely loved our meal! I had brisket with coleslaw and mac, my fiancé had the pork with Brunswick stew and collard greens. We had the pie for dessert. Everything was fantastic, but the service was even better. We really felt like we were just visiting family and they were feeding us their famous-secret -recipe food. They were so kind and went above and beyond to make sure we had what we needed (and then some!). After a long day of hiking, this is exactly what we needed. 10/10!
Wasn’t really crazy about the ribs and the mac and cheese was a little bland but the brisket was really good! The baked beans had green chile and was so good, and the cornbread was good! The hubs got green chile stew and he enjoyed as well. We will go back for sure! On a final note, we loved the wall that showcased various cultures.
New favorite bbq joint! Owner is very sweet and was generous with the portion size. Also, may be the best assortment of bbq sauces I have seen in any joint
