Great Steak. This place rocks. i have been going since the mid-90's, you want a real steak cooked to order and eat with some real people. This is the place to go. The big chains will never compare. GReat size steak for a decent price.
On a late Monday night, just as most other kitchens are about to shut down there is still one place in a working class neighborhood where a person can get a great steak. This steakhouse has been around over 40 years and still is true to form. Denverfrank & I can always count on a full stomach as well as a few drinks at a great price.
Columbine Steak House in Denver exceeded all expectations with the best steak sandwich I've ever had. The meat was incredibly tender and juicy, nestled perfectly between slices of Texas toast that added an extra layer of deliciousness. The impeccable service brought back fond memories from my younger days, making this dining experience truly memorable. If you're in Denver and crave a steak sandwich that's beyond perfection, Columbine is the place to be!
Proper steak joint. Great food, wonderful staff and the atmosphere is very casual. Get the T Bone or Porterhouse.

This hiddem gem has the best steaks around. This place reminds me of the old Greek steak houses that are no longer around. And they have hamburger steaks!!

Incredible steak! Crunchy fried shrimp! So glad I listened to my friend and decided to come out here. Flavorful! I asked for rare and definitely came out rare. Some parts were slightly raw but that’s okay it was warm. Overall delicious. The bread is so buttery and thick, soft, yet crispy, their baked potato had plenty of butter and sour cream on it. Love how you get sides along with the Entrée order. Keep coming back love this place
Update: still delicious, still INCREDIBLE! burnt the h out of my mouth biting into my freshly fried fish, but completely worth it. (Not really it hurt) still one of the best places to get an affordable steak in denver hands down!!
No fuss, no frills, local vibes in a casual highway diner-esque setting. What more can you ask for from a steakhouse?
Regardless of how busy they are, this place works fast! You can’t beat a value of a well cooked steak, perfectly medium rare with a potato and a salad on the side.
They’re not meant to be fancy- just perfectly grilled meat with salt and pepper. That’s what makes it great!
Every time we come we enjoy a HUGE $27 porter house. Tasty, and just what you come to a steakhouse for: good steak.

No frills super chill steak place. The atmosphere is more like an old school diner, we love it! If you are looking for a fancy restaurant, this is not the place. Here for the decently price good steak. Do they have the best steak ever? Probably not. Is the price to taste ratio worth it? Yes, absolutely.
The food is always excellent! No frills or fluff. Just a good meal every time!

I really enjoyed visiting this steak house. It has a unique atmosphere and absolutely amazing food. I was very impressed with the steak I got, as it was super juicy even though it was well cooked. Do note that you need to let them know if you don't want it well done.

This has been one of our family favorites steak houses. Today we came in and ordered a T-bone steak, a sirloin steak and a New York strip. When you come in walk to the counter and start to place your order the menu is on overhead. Order your cut of steak & how you want it cooked. Your order will come with a salad choose your dressing. Get a drink or water then you pay the cashier. Find a seat get started on your salad and when your steak is done you pick it up at the counter and enjoy a wonderful steak. Columbine Lounge is a unique experience. IT’S OLD SCHOOL! I love it. You have one guy on the grill making the steaks. They are all made to perfection. I got a TBone steak, salad, baked potatoes and a large toast for $24. It is under priced if you ask me. The grill cheese are to die for. If you are close to this masterpiece of a diner stop by and enjoy a juicy piece of meat.
