Best cowlie alu I have ever had at a restaurant. It was not covered in oil and I could actually taste the difference between the alu and cowlie individually. The okra was delish as were the chicken and goat dish. I am not a lalmon eater because it has always been super sweet at other establishments around the country, but I have to say at Yak & Yeti, they changed my mindset about lalmon...I ate 4
The staff were very attentive and good customer service seems to be a priority.
This is the best Indian food I’ve ever eaten. Buffet all day everyday!
The food is amazing. We just happened to stop here because we were craving Indian food. They have a buffet but we got there toward the end of buffet time, so we opted to order off the menu. Thr buffet didn't look very appetizing at the end.
We ordered the lamp rogenjosh, saag paneeer, veggie samosas, plain naan, a mango lassi and a beer. Everything was so tasty and fresh. Some of the best samosas I've had. The spice level on both mine and my husband's meals were perfect. My saag paneer was mild without sacrificing flavor and my husband's was perfectly spicy without being too spicy to enjoy.
I didn't really like alcove booth seating but that might appeal to some. I'd prefer a table with good lighting. I'll definitely order again but probably to go.
With one blink, I captured the familiar words Yak & Yeti while traveling through East Hampden Ave in Denver, CO. The beautiful building pulled my mind towards it.
I stopped here the next day. The friendly staff welcomed me as I entered, though they were not ready with a buffet.
Since then, I have started with Tea and Samosa.
Its fresh and clean atmosphere makes me spend my all day here.
Varieties of all foods were delicious.
All Staff, Food, and Atmosphere here are so friendly, fresh, and fantastic.
I will come here again.
This blended restaurant serves Indian and Tibetan food fare. We ordered chat, korma, curry, al mulat, moma, Naan, lassi. Everything prepped fresh and delicious. Chai Stout was very good.
Kid friendly with chicken rice options.
Parking available.
They also offer small amount of to go products like canned beers or chai.
Where to start! Stopped here on a whim, on a day I was feeling off, and Yak and Yeti absolutely made me right. After being greeted by smiling faces, incredible atmosphere, intoxicating aromas, and a fun looking party in the other room, we dove right in to the buffet. Not sure I’ve had Indian buffet style before: the combination works so well! All kinds of curries, rice, vegetarian options galore for me, all clearly marked. Hot naan served too. Great to try new dishes without the commitment of getting it as an entree. Thank you again to the staff for great service, and the owners for creating such a unique space!
What a beautiful building to have a restaurant in. The food was amazing and the staff were excellent and very accommodating. The presentation of food was great!
I love this place. When you enter, you'll immediately want to take in a deep whiff of the amazing aromas.
Go when they have the lunch or buffet! Hot, fresh, and all tastes so amazing. Excellent service every time. Cozy booths for a more private dining experience.
We went with a small group of four people and sat in a cozy booth out cove. The food is the best park, each person ordered one entree from the menu and we all loved the food. The place is kind of unique because they also have an event space for weddings, but as a restaurant guest, you have to walk through this event space to get to the restaurant area. Kind of odd. Food was great, I recommend it!
For a while we ordered from here using Uber eats. Decided to go and get the full in house dining experience.... It was around 4 pm Monday, we were only one of two tables. No wait, got sat right away. They food was great to go, but even better fresh out of the kitchen. Got the chicken korma medium heat. The flavor was great especially if you love coconut. Garlic naan was a perfect pairing to hold the chicken and rice. I will definitely go again and try their lunch buffet.
The Tikka Chicken Marsala was delicious! We've been to many Yak and Yeti, this one is by far above the others in comparison. The flavor was all there, how you would expect Tikka Marsala to be. The garlic cheese naan was my favorite, you could taste the lightly seasoned garlic. The momo and the dipping sauce was a great pair. I could totally dip everything into the Tikka Marsala. Definitely coming back here again. There is no longer buffet.
Very good Indian, Nepalese restaurant. Wait staff very attentive, food came out hot and fresh Ordered the butter chicken, the vindaloo chicken , garlic naan. Buffet is currently not operating- is supposed to return in a couple of months from what the wait staff told us. Good place for Indian.
