I've now eaten here twice. Let me walk you through why I love this little gem so much.
1st. Service - no matter how good food is, without good service the experience would be lacking. Mitch was our server both times and he is one of the best I have ever had. He made strong recommendations, didn't try to push the most expensive items, remembered us on our second visit 6 weeks later, and was just perfect.
2nd. Food - the food was amazing. From the beat salad and chicken liver moose appetizers to the sea bass and duck main dishes. My son said the peanut butter ice cream was pretty amazing too but I was too stuffed to try it.
3rd. Atmosphere - the entire place has a very homey vibe. It doesn't take itself too seriously but puts out quality food simply prepared with amazing flavors.
The only draw back is that it can be a bit noisy. Rumor has it they are expanding next door so I'm hoping that problem goes away soon.
My favorite restaurant. The food is always a delight and the suggested wine/beer pairs are always a delicious compliment. I also love the cozy ambiance. This place is a gem!!!
Ah, the atmosphere and the service! Phenomenal! Everyone that we interacted with was friendly, smiling, easy going, very enjoyable! The recommendations for the drinks was right on the money! I enjoyed the champagne as we sat down!
The place tends to fill up quickly so reservations are highly recommended! Street parking along - just watch out for the signs.
The menu changes often so I am sure next time I would find something else I love!
We tried a few appetizers and I loved the tagliatelle pasta. The bread with butter and apple butter was delicious!
The entree was good - we got the fish specialty dish (catfish?)
But what I was blown away by was the dessert! There is a creme, a chocolate creme with white topping and some crunchies on top that is just beyond amazing!
I can fly into Denver just to go have that dessert again!
Definitely on my list to visit often!
From the people who work there, the ambiance to the food - I am super happy and delighted!
The food is super fresh, cooked with great technique and functions on a monthly rotation. The starters or smaller dishes change often while the mains change about every month. The service might be the best part with great people all around. You can tell it is a great working environment with happy staff. We had attentive waitstaff(Tina & Megan) are awesome and very energetic. Mathew the bartender and Danny are great personalities. Daniel and “Sweet Lou” work the cold kitchen and are very nice. Overall the atmosphere is comfortable and modern. Favorite dishes were the cornbread, salmon tartare and the deserts. Cornbread is nice and flakey, salmon is super fresh just flown in and the deserts are executed well.

In a word, fantastic! I can't even begin to describe the food, other than it was fantastic! It's not even worth getting in the details, because it's going to change! Yeah, it's one of those joints, and I can't wait to go back and see what else they come up with. As a person who enjoys cooking, but has no formal training, dishes like these make me feel stupid, because I have no idea how they're created lol! The food, the service, the drinks, everything was incredible. It's a small, quaint little place so, a reservation is highly recommended, if not required.
Yum!!! The young up and coming chef Sweet Lou made our meal and it was DIVINE!! All the workers came and chatted with us about our evening, SUPREME SERVICE. Cannot recommend this place E-nough!! Cannot go wrong with this menu! Beautiful gem hidden away in the corner of Whittier, truly a diamond in the rough. 💎
We stopped by for one last round and an appetizer after dinner at Point Easy which is a quick walk. Cute tiny spot with exposed brick detail and terrible acoustics. The table next to ours was loud and it made it challenging to focus and enjoy. Service was great! Drinks were delish.

Absolute favorite style of cuisine and they knocked it out of the park. We’ll definitely be back!! My only negative was that it was hard to hear each other from across the 2 person table… nothing to absorb the sound, so it was quite loud. Service was great and food was seasonal and outstanding
This experience was delightful from start to finish! Both the host and our server (Megan) went SO above and beyond to accommodate my dietary restrictions. Truly some of the best service I have had in my 8 years in this city. We will absolutely be back.
Top notch neighborhood spot. What I really loved about this place was how the dishes that our server (Michael) helped us select was so perfectly balanced. Dishes change constantly due to season so by the time you might read this their menu has probably changed. However I assure you this is a must! The chefs take into consideration every ingredient works together and it was such a treat to eat. Atmosphere was great and the service wonderful. So glad we are so close to such an amazing eatery and experience.
Such a cute, intimate venue, it was perfect for a nice date night. The food was stunning, our waitress Megan was amazing with recommendations and service, and the whole staff made us feel welcome and well taken care of. Highly recommend the espresso martinis, was by far the best we’ve ever had. The monkfish was spectacular, the beef short rib fell off the bone and just melted in the mouth. Definitely pricy, but absolutely worth it. Love that the menu rotates based on what’s available, we can’t wait to go back and see what we get next time!
