Girls' weekend on the Creeper Trail was perfect thanks to the weather and to the amazing food and hospitality of the Damasucus Old Mill Inn. There were other options available locally but we chose to have both breakfast and supper at the Old Mill Inn two days in a row. Comfort and comfort food, gourmet dishes and personal service is what we found, leaving new found friends and planning a return trip as soon as possible. We highly recommend!!!
It's been 11-12 years since we've been here. When I originally came here so many years ago, I loved the location but thought the food was just so-so. We came back today for Father's Day and my birthday. We had a group of 10 adults and 1 two year old. The food was AMAZING and the staff was WONDERFUL! They were technically still only serving food from their lunch menu but our waitress talked to the chef who agreed to go ahead and let us order from the dinner menu. EVERY SINGLE PERSON in our party was very impressed with everything they ordered. It's rare for everyone in a group that large to be 100% satisfied but everyone raved about the food and kept saying what a good idea it was to come here. This is, hands down, my new favorite place to eat. And to make our visit even more enjoyable, the hostess gave us several containers of duck food to feed the ducks. Our 2 year old grandson thought that was the best thing ever! We will definitely be back very soon!
