Love this place! Fried squash, green tomatoes are yummy. I got this plus a grilled chicken club salad. The salad was really big and so are the portions of squash and green tomatoes. I ended up taking the salad home. Tip: If you go on a Friday, go super early if you don't want to miss the chicken and dressing special. You will be glad you did.

Food is always delicious! Favorites, chicken and dressing (special), green beans, fried squash, ok......every vegetable they have... homemade biscuits, fried chicken, homemade desserts - cobblers, cakes and pies! Reasonable prices and the staff is always nice and working hard. FYI on chicken and dressing day, you better come early so 1) you don't have to stand in line 2) they don't run out. They are that good! Family owned and ran.

My daughter and son in law discovered Joan's. This is home style country cooking. With waitresses that are always right there when you need them. They treat you like you are their family. And they have some of the best food around. Open for Breakfast/ Lunch. If you are in or around Dallas, don't miss it!
