Great hibachi. This is a family neighborhood favorite. The staff is friendly and it's always consistent. Not a fan of chain restaurants, this place is warm and friendly.
Sushi is good but I think they messed up our order. it's okay, but there is better out there. We mostly come here because of the location.

This place is good, but not the best. The sushi is ok but not as fresh as I would like it. Some of the hibahi dudes are wayyy too over the top and make eating here not a pleasurable experience. All in all, I like fuji. It's a great place for parties! Try the hibachi shrimp or the shrimp tempura rolls!!
Benihana's For the rest of Us. Fuji Steakhouse is definitely a hibachi style restaurant located in the strip center at Preston and LBJ. We've been coming here for years and love it. The food is great, service is very good and the atmosphere is a little warmer than Benihana's and on a smaller scale. I actually think this is some of the better Sushi in Dallas. (Not as good as Sushi-Sake, but definitely in the top 10) Prices are better than Benihana's as well. Parking is easy and the central location makes it easy to get to. If you're looking to do Hibachi (or Sushi), easy style, this is the place.

Great food, great show! We went to Fuji for hibachi last night and were very impressed. The atmosphere inside the restaurant was very nice. The music was modern pop and not too loud. The decorations were nice and not overwhelming at all. I think it must be under new management because the reviews below don't match our experience at all. When it came to the food, we were also very pleased! The hibachi show was different and impressive. The portions of rice, vegetables, and meat were large and everything was delicious. We both ordered the beef, medium rare and were thrilled with how tender and flavorful it was. We were also very impressed with the service. The waitresses were attentive and very kind. Fuji was definitely a hit and we're excited to return!
We came in late before closing and the host graciously accomadated us. The chef was funny and awesome food. The food is great!
The portion were huge.. And to defend the place there is no yum yum sauce at a Japanese place.. Go to a Thia restaurant...Know your food and the culture and customs and you'll understand that the host was not rude but just want to serve you.😀 She is quick to serve and gets to the point.
This is my go to sushi bar in Dallas. The fish is fresh and the service is good, and I like that they do mostly clean sushi (without all various sauces and flavorings done in various rolls in other sushi bars.
Their "Fuji" roll is done without any rice and is perfect for low carb sushi eaters.
Never knew they were open for lunch....not a big sushi fan so we had steak hibachi. Awesome! I'll get child's portion next time; so much food. Best food I've ever had :-) We'll be back...........
An Amazing Expierence! Chefs are all very skilled and put on a great show! The steak is extremely tender and juicy and the soup is to die for! Sushi is also very good and is my go to. The service is very good and the waitress is very nice. My favorite is the Ny Strip try it! BEST STEAK ON THE PLANET!!
I ate here in 2008 but I crave the food daily! I had the salmon and steak and it was the best I've had to date! I'm hoping a visit soon as I live out of state and really hope for the same experience I had then!
