Well it was tasty but they should not advertise catfish when they are selling a different type of fish I guess they assume the customer wouldn’t notice
I tried Floyd's at the State Fair of Texas. My catfish fillet basket was great and interested me in visiting their restaurant. However, the other reviews here have me wondering if it's worth the drive, as I'm not too, too close. Sounds like they may not be all that consistent. Consistency is the 2nd most important thing about a restaurant, with number 1. being food quality. Maybe if I'm ever in the area I'll give it another go.
This food here is amazing, it wasn't salty, wasn't over fried, everything was just right. The lines where long about 15 cars deep. The lady manually taking the order walking to each car is kind of rude & impatient. So if I were you I would find a menu online and know what you want already. This was our 1st time and luckily we found a menu, but other than that the experience was great. Oh! Also make sure when you pickup your food you check the order because we ordered hush puppies along with our meal and they weren't in there, and there is no such thing as going back in line or inside due to covid-19.
Usually the customer service here is terrible but today it was amazing! However the fish wasn’t great. It was ok. The hush puppies were on point per usual.
Divine food. Genuinely the best catfish I've ever had. A beautiful hidden gem that is very unassuming from the outside.

1st of all the man that takes your order is not friendly. He's dry & has no people skiĺl. The filet pieces are small. I spent $50 even on 10 piece filet & an order of hush puppies & 2 extra tartar sauce. That's too expensive. I was over charged. Please check your receipt b4 you leave & your order. I will find another place to go cause this was a rip off.
Low key catfish joint. Very clean. Catfish steaks! Very tasty. Oak Cliff. Been there for a long time. Catfish steaks are more flavorful than fillets. That's how we used to eat big catfish. Lots of flavor in the bones and fat. Catfish steaks are rare. The cole slaw was very good. Thing is, if you ain't into fish in a big way, then this place won't suit you.
Great fried catfish mini steaks and plump juicy fried shrimp!!! Corn sticks are bomb. You know it's good when grease seeps thru the brown bag 😆 Go get you some fried food today.

First time here. Ordered 2pcs catfish fillets. Comes with 2 pieces of white bread, French fries and corn bread sticks. It was tasty. Total about $8.79. Got full off the meal. Will be back when I get a taste for fish. The drive thru is very convenient.
