Stopped in for lunch. It was a short walk from the Dallas Museum of Art. My build your own chicken sandwich turned out great. The sweet potato fries were yummy and they even provided honey mustard when I asked. It was a Tuesday, so Texas draft beer were $1 off. I tried the blood & honey. The staff said it was a little like Blue Moon, a little not...agreed :) I then got a flight and he graciously replaced one of the options that I did not like at all. Overall, great find!
Great burgers, great service.
The portobello is awesome (especially when subbing the bun for salad [a worthwhile upcharge] to feel healthy). The turkey burger is the best I've had, well-seasoned and juicy, and the suggested Southwest prep is super tasty.
Also, truffle fries.
If you can't tell... I eat here a lot.
They recently added the Impossible Burger, and their cooks know how to handle it. I had mine made the same as the Southwestern Turkey Burger because avocado and pepperjack, and I devoured it in no time. I wasn't even hungry... bad pictures of great vegetarian fare included.
The only reason I'm not namedropping any employees is because they all make my day every time I see them, but any bosses reading this who need details should e-mail me... or just ask me the next time I'm in later this week. :)
TL;DR - Great food - even for non-meat eaters, awesome beer selection, top notch service, dog-friendly patio. Go here.
My experience at Village Burger Bar was great. My friends and I decided to check this place out because they offered a vegan patty the impossible burger. I build my own patty and chose shoestring fries. The burger was good I still prefer the beyond meat patty. This place offers great service and good food.
Well...... Burger was not cooked as I requested. 🙄 But it still had a good flavor. Could've received more onion rings for the price but they were okay. Service was great!

Overall a good, juicy burger with plenty of options for toppings and sides and a nice selection of beer on tap for a fair price.
I came across this location during a walk around 2:30 pm. It was pretty slow, but still a few patrons drinking or eating. The bartender(?) was very helpful. Gave me the rundown and a few of his suggestions. I ordered a Temptress and he offered a water to go along with it (I'm used to asking at most places). It was roughly $15 for a custom burger, truffle fries, and my beer which, to me, is a very fair price.
There was plenty of seating. Granted I was there during the slow hours but I feel even during lunch or dinner you could easily find a table or bar spot inside or outside (it's covered with several propane heaters).
Only reason im not leaving 5 stars is because the fries weren't the best. The flavor was there but they were a bit too hard. I like my fries crispy but I felt these were maybe reheated leftovers from the lunch rush. Id like to assume they'd be great during the busier hours when more orders are coming in. Burger was definitely still on point though, and I do plan to try this place out again in the future!
One of the best Truffle fries in town! Burgers are not bad either. Great value for money.
I really liked the food, great flavor. Good atmosphere and decent prices. The fries are thin but, but not shoe string thin. They have many options to customize the burger and make it mine. The tea were good and has a good soda fountain selection We came with a group and they accommodated. I'd return anytime.
I love this place. Very reasonable prices on their food. You can build your own burger there. The atmosphere was good. The outdoor patio was very nice . It's in a good location. They have garage parking . The burgers had very good flavor . My kids loved the place. I am definitely coming back more than once . Maybe after a Mavericks game. The bartender was cool . The staff was awesome
Great spot! Their burgers are tasty, lots of fry options, and very reasonably priced for Uptown. Try the double sweet potato fries! They might put you into a sugar coma but it'll be a heavenly death!
It's usually pretty busy around lunch but quiet for dinner. My only complaint is how early they close. 8pm weeknights and 9pm weekends is a bit early for an otherwise great sports bar feel on the cheap.
The service was wonderful. The burgers were some of the best I've had and for a reasonable price. The bartender was fast and helpful and the drink was delicious. Got our food in 5 minutes when it was moderately busy. Good atmosphere and good variety of options. When I come back to Dallas, I hope to eat here again.
