If you're looking for delicious Thai food in a gorgeous, peaceful setting then look no further! Ka Thai is the place to be. Free parking is located on the side of the building. You can ask the waiter for validation so you don't need to pay the fee since you are a customer.
The interior design is modern, cozy, earthy and zen. The waiters are so attentive. My sis dropped her chopsticks 3 times and they swiftly replaced it every single time with no negativity.
For food, please try Pad See Eew. I would come here solely for this dish. It has a charred wok flavor that I've not experienced anywhere else. My sister and I both noticed it and could not get enough. Everything else we ordered like Crab Fried Rice and Tom Yum were also just perfectly made. The prices are super reasonable!
The ambience here was immaculate and we highly recommend this Thai spot for locals and visitors.
PS. Restrooms are super clean!
Was in town for training & met some wonderful ladies in my training class & we all agreed to come to ka Tai which was a wonderful experience. The atmosphere was amazing & gorgeous. The vibes from the whole staff was wonderful & welcoming. The food was amazing no complaints what so ever & it definitely is enough food. I had the pineapple chicken curry 🍛 & I loved that they had brown rice as an option being diabetic a lot of places doesn't offer much options when it comes to rice. I also ordered the spring rolls with the peanut sauce...soooooo good. My friends ordered some drinks can't engender what they ordered but they were pretty. I definitely would suggest going to this place! The manager there was definitely amazing. Prices were fair for how much you got.
I cant say this loud enough but LISTEN TO ME Ka Thai has been the best thing I have had! OmG it's rare that you go to a restaurant that has good food & drinks but TRUST me they have both!
Me and my girlfriend went for dinner and were completely blow away. The atmosphere is great, customer service was outstanding.
We ordered the chicken Satay as an appetizer, Curry Fried rice and the Sweet & Sour Stir fry. Just wow! HANDS DOWN we both agreed its best fried rice we have ever had !
I honestly could eat here once a week!
Now for the Drinks! I'm an old fashion fan so I can to try there version,I ordered the
Bangkok Cowboy = Thai coffee, pecan & coconut infused bourbon, smoke diffused, over ice. OmG 🤯🤯🤯 too fire! Super smooth even my girlfriend liked it. Trust me, these drinks are A1!
Ladies if you want something sweet this IS THE drink for you.
Fly me to the moon =vodka, mango puree, butterfly flower, infused coconut rum, lime juice
A must try! Highly recommended 👌
Always tasty and spicy per your order level. The salad dishes are delish. Fresh crispy greens, lovely papaya and chicken larb. Plates are big, so sharing is an option.
This is my favorite place to eat at! I get the exact same things because I can’t get over it. The staff is extremely welcoming and the scenery is beautiful, something that you can’t get enough of. I would say I’m going back but I’m always there, definitely a recommendation. My boyfriend loves to try different food and everything is wonderful there isn’t something there that he doesn’t like.
Decent Thai food spot. A little bit pricy and the portion sizes aren’t great. Pad Thai was good, but was lacking a little bit of that umami and salty touch that the best Pad Thais have. The spring rolls were excellent, just make sure you ask for extra sweet chili sauce as the amount given isn’t enough for the 4 Spring Rolls that come in an order. The staff were extremely bubbly and nice which is always nice to see. The restaurant itself has a nice interior, pretty spacious, in a nice part of Uptown. I would recommend coming here if you aren’t that hungry or if you had a snack before coming.
First time visiting Dallas and we ordered Ka Thai delivery for our first dinner cuz their reviews looks pretty good.
I’m so glad we tried cuz their family-style Thai dishes are one of the bests I’ve ever had in the United States! Service was super great as well cuz they double layered the curry dish so that they don’t spill.
We ordered pad see ew (w shrimps, spicy level 3), lamb curry, wings for appetizer and mango sticky rice for dessert. The pad see ew was sooo gooos I’d literally give 10 stars on Yelp if there were such option. We had 8 jumbo shrimps in one dish. Literally…shrimps/noodle ratio was 2:1. Incredible. You never get that in NYC/Austin (where I live) I also love eggs and the veggie in it. One thing worth mentioning is the at most of the pad see ew I’ve had are super oily, but this one doesn’t. This is a MUST ORDER for sure.
The curry was rlly good too and the portion was very generous. It’s just I generally prefer spicy curry and their yellow curry was sweet. Mango sticky rice was also rlly good. Just like the ones I had in Bangkok. Appetizer, the wings, were the only dish that I wouldn’t give 5 stars. The sauce was yummy but the wings are a little too dry.
The ambiance of the restaurant looks rlly nice from the reviews. Would definitely visit for an indoor dining soon 🇹🇭
Very cute place with great food. Especially recommended gyozas and Phad Thai, really delicious. The service is also super nice and friendly.
So happy I stumbled upon this Thai Restaurant, I love Asian food and this spot checked all the boxes for me, inviting atmosphere, great service and great food, can’t ask for much more than that, can’t wait to come back to try more dishes.
This is one of the best restaurants we love to eat during our stay at Dallas uptown. You can park in the M-line tower parking garage ($6 for two hours) for free by asking restaurants to get you validated. The foods are delicious. We spent less than $100 for 4 with 20% tips included. We enjoy the appetizers, two dishes shared and yummy 🥭 desert.
