First time we've ever been and we couldn't of been happier. The whole staff from the servers to the wait staff was friendly. The sweet tea is the best.
Sister Wanda took me there for lunch.The food was good and our waitress outstanding. Nice fast and very friendly .Truly enjoyed myself.
I haven't been here in quite a while. I ordered the chicken fried steak. It was a bit salty, cream gravy a bit thick, cucumber salad was mushy, mashed potatoes and green beans were good. Prices were high for 2 people we paid over $55. Service was good once we were sat.

Food was good but COLD! My daughter & myself had cold food. Our veggies & mash potato was cold. We ate it and was season good. We had Catfish, Luby fish , mash potatoes, spinach, green beans and all were cold. Even the rolls were hard.
I had not been to Luby's in years but had a random desire to go today. I was very impressed by the great selection and the recommendations by Maria T. I enjoyed the salmon and all of the sides were great plus they offer a military discount. I will definitely have to go back!
Wow, Luby's has changed! I was hard-pressed to find a location still open after Covid-19 nearly sounded the death knell for all cafeterias. The Farmers Branch site has never looked better with fresh upholstery and new tile floors. With the addition of four big screen televisions and the Pet Shop Boys " West End Girls" playing softly on the sound system, it made for a relaxing dining experience. I got here just 5 minutes after they opened and beat the lunch crowd. I had the Baked Almondine on the LuAnn platter with spinach and cheesy vegetable rice casserole. It took a lot of willpower to resist those delicious pies they had on display. Maybe next trip. I dined for just under $13. and that included the tip. The staff was friendly and the bathroom spotless. Highly recommended. 👍 👌
Haven't been to Luby's in a long time. We enjoyed our food, good portions are decent. They kept our glasses full. Atmosphere is clean .
I had the fish and vegetables. I actually removed some of the crust to get to the fish. The vegetables were good.
This was my first visit and I was impressed! It reminder me of the Piccadilly from home but better. The options and cleanliness were awesome but what made the entire visit right was our waiter, Derrick/Derek. He was phenomenal! He anticipated our needs to the point where I was honestly shocked! I've been to several boujie restaurants and NONE of them could hold any kind of candle to his kindness, courtesy and high attention to details. We will return. It was a great experience.
It was my First time at this location. I had been looking for a Lubby's since most of them have closed down in Dallas. I'm so Happy this one is still open, because I had been CRAVING their Liver and Onions with brown gravy. I also had a side of their rice and mashed potatoes with white gravy, along with their jalapeño corn bread, let me just say it was so Good that I just inhaled my food. Our Waitress was so kind and attentive. The Atmosphere was Nice, Clean and Quiet.
I will definitely go back.
Was a bit disappointed in the food. cabbage was not cooked enough and was flavorless. athe spinach was good, the baked fish was good. prolly will try again but not get things I remember being soooo great.. been 15 years or more since I have been to one.
