Pros: - Exceptional Latin cuisine that is reasonably priced. - Drinks are different but amazing - Solid Brunch - Very helpful staff will work with you to accommodate private events
Cons - No real cons here, but this is not your traditional Tex-Mex restaurant. La Duni has put a bit of a twist on most of its dishes and drinks, which they refer to as Latin American Homestyle Cuisine, and we love every bit of it!

I love La Duni's dessert! The dessert is divine! They make such exquisite cakes. I like their specialty coffees. I've mostly been for brunch and lunch. It can get really cramped and crowded for brunch. The service is decent, as well.
Best Chicken and Waffles. Everything at our table was delicious! long wait but that's expected considering the food.
Always Great Food. No question about it, this is some of the best food around!
It is strange that I prefer a mall location better than the other 2 but I Do! Everyone that works there is always in a good mood & it transcends through the place! Beautiful patio & some of the best ribs I have ever had! ( they don't have @ other locations)
Superb!. There were eight of us dining together for a birthday lunch and let me just say, what a great place with great ambience.
Each of us were so pleased with what we ordered we just had to share and sample. Every dish was so very tasty. To top off the meal - the awesome coffee was a bonus!! We will be back.
The Brazilian style chicken wings were DELICIOUS. They were moist and amazing. Definitely the best chicken wings I've had...
My favorite place "ever." Salads are delicious, carnita Cubana and panchos..honestly I tried everything and everything is "great." Cafe de horchata and Lemmon cake are my killers.. great customer service (Jennifer is great and Miguel at the bar) highly recommend this place... una maravilla de lugar todos los platillos son "deliciosos." : cuban ropa vieja, havana pork, panchos (nachos very unique).
The food is very tasty and the ambiance it’s really nice. It’s an overview of Latin American cuisine. The have a mix platter for appetizers which has empanadas, sweet plantains, cheese balls and tostones (also plantain but fried). They have all kind of food, from tacos, to chorizo burgers, chicken salads, salmon, and others. The best part I should say it’s the desserts the triple chocolate Venezuelan cake it’s my favorite, followed by the cuatro leches cake. Drinks are OK, they have a great wine selection, and have lemonade with club soda which is my fav. Service has always been good, and it can be pricey. But it’s worth it.
Pros: Standard latin dishes, but with original touches that make the dishes stand out. The pepared coffees were good. The resturant itself is clean and well laid out. I saw the Conchas $5 for a pair and my eyebrow shot up, but they were delicious. The chocolate concha baked with (Abuelitas?) was great. Cons: It was busy at Sunday brunch and the servers we stretched.
The food and drinks there are always so delicious! You can't go wrong with any coffee here, and it comes with the tiny bread that is super tasty. For brunch, my favorite is the huevos fine, which is the sliced pop over with ham and eggs and potatoes. So amazing! You will not regret if you get this. The chilaquiles is also good as well and the portion is very generous. I also have to add that their chips and salsa are really good as well. Service is good but slightly slow. I'll definitely be back!
La Duni is a successful "fusion" of Bakery, sweets shop and restaurant. It features a menu that straddles Mexican, Cuban and Latin Ametican flavors and ingredients. An extensive dessert list featuring tres lèches layer cakes is fantastic. The bar serves the expected tequilas and mojitos, but also exotic craft cocktails with ingredients like panela water, Venezuelan rums, passion fruit and mango.
In sure the full moon had something to do with it, but the wow factor usually provided by la Duni just wasn't there this time. I'm still going back.
EDIT: Kudos to La Duni for their response!! Looking back I can admit the review was a little vague. First, let me say we only eat there when visiting Dallas. As a matter of fact the Baking studio made our wedding cake. In regards to my visit last time at North Park Center, I felt the chicken was under seasoned, but cooked perfectly. Its been my one and only dish since the first time we dined there. My statement to missing the wow factor was solely based on that. That evening everything else was 5 stars. The service was excellent, and man my cafe latte was delicious. I'm changing my original 4 star review to 5 now, because you guy's and gal's deserve it.
This place is one of my favorites. Everytime I go to Northpark mall I go by here. There house margaritas are fabulous. They have amazing French press sandwiches and salads. My family absolutely loves their desserts. The Baked Alaska is my favorite. If you haven't been, you should absolutely try it!
What mall? This is like a hometown neighborhood place one would walk down to with the family on a typical afternoon to sit on the patio, eat, drink, and watch the kids play on the lawn. A casual friendly atmosphere with good food and good drinks. Think of the cakes separately! These are seriously professionally hardcore beautiful and delicious. Take these home and eat like royalty or take these to a fancy party and people with think you are royalty.
Went to the coffee bar (opens at 9AM) and ordered a French Cappuccino. The coffee menu alone is impressive, especially if you like more traditional-style espresso drinks!
I also grabbed a “jarcake” from the refrigerated section, because the restaurant hadn’t opened yet (opens at 11AM). Their Cuatro Leches cake is really good!
If I lived closer to North Park, I would regularly go here for coffee and dessert.
Met a friend for lunch at 11:45 on a Monday. We were able to be seated right away.
The menu has lots of Latin-influenced options and that includes vegetarian and gluten-free. There is an extensive coffee, hot chocolate, and dessert menu.
I opted for a side-dish lunch, which included a cold Red Quinoa salad with tart cherries and pecans (just the right amount savory-sweetness) and the Grilled Broccoli and Asparagus (garlicky, buttery and yummy, even though it had little asparagus in it.)
My friend chose the Three salad option and said it was delicious.
For dessert, we shared the cobbler (gluten-free) with ice cream - very good, but not your typical cobbler. We also ordered fancy-schmancy coffees that were pre-sweetened. I was able to get mine decaffeinated, and my friend ordered hers with soymilk.
It was a great meal, and we didn't feel rushed. The waitstaff was friendly and helpful.
