Quaint little restaurant with delicious options. Would definitely recommend for an intimate dinner. We ordered the day boat scallops, stuffed leeks and Vietnamese chicken curry.
So close to perfect. My wife and I had a great date night at Mot Hai Ba. The service was great, the food was great. I'm not sure if it was what we ordered, but we found that the amazing flavors were overshadowed by the spiciness of the dishes. It was clear that the food was flavorful, interesting, and beautifully presented, but it felt hidden by the spiciness. I'd love to go again and try other food.
This was one of the most flavorful Vietnamese restaurants I’ve ever eaten at. They even accommodated for a vegetarian experience. Highly recommended.

A hidden cozy date night spot. The service was great from beginning to end. The food was good but at least what I got wasn’t incredible. I got the scallops and it was 3 scallops for $32 and the corn chowder underneath was pretty bland. Maybe I just ordered badly. My boyfriend absolutely loved this place though and he ordered foie gras dumplings. The appetizers outshone the entrees in my opinion. Oysters and brisket banh bao were delicious ! Drinks were strong and also really tasty. They have a cute patio that I’ll have to try next time.
HOLY WOW. Truly the best dining experience I have ever had. Every single dish was unbelievable. The service was amazing. Sabrina at the Lakewood location was a gem. She had every single answer for all of our questions and was such a joy to be around. If she could have pulled up a chair and ate with us, we would have loved it! 😂 The turnip dumplings and shaking beef were my favorite. But genuinely all the entrees we ordered were unmatched.
Been a few times and always have a fantastic experience. Love the staff… super nice and enjoy having conversations with them at the bar and also very knowledgeable! Always something new, interesting, different, fresh in the menu. The garlic noodles and dumplings are a must if you haven’t been before.
I freaking loved this place. Hole in the wall with excellent food (except the special choux pastry appetizer thing they sold us on-- we literally left 80% of it on the plate. Stick with the mains). But the other stuff was awesome. And the cocktails? Don't get me started. So good!Totally worth the price. We will be back.
I hadn’t been in years! But it is so good!! They have a gluten free menu upon request. We had their tempura which was surprisingly gluten free. Their cocktails were nice and refreshing. We ordered the whole branzino with jasmine rice and the scallops. The sauce on the whole branzino was so delicious! The scallops were a little small and came with 3 but the overall dish was excellent.
We went there for Mother’s day. We were satisfied with everything honestly! Atmosphere was great, family friendly, all staffs were friendly and well knowledge, food&dessert were amazing! and cocktails made us so freshly. Thank you Mot Hai Ba! We will definitely be back 👍🏻😋
