LAMB TACOS WERE DELICIOUS! At the start, I was considering to order a lamb gyro and call lunch, but my server was so polite and informative I was curious to venture into the unknown of this charming bistro.
🇬🇷I asked if I could order any salad as a side portion and he said yes. My roasted beat and arugula salad came with whole walnuts and feta. When it was brought to me, my server offered to top it with fresh cracked pepper. The salad was just what I needed but there were many starters and shareable options on the menu. Then my tacos appeared in a familiar vessel. The shape and color of the tortillas were perfect and I could tell they were freshly made. The lamb was surprisingly tender and moist- it must have been slow cooked in an array of spices especially with a cinnamon flavor. The lamb tacos were topped with pickled onion, feta, and a tangy yogurt sauce.
🌹I was so pleased with my meal and the attentive service. I will definitely be coming back for dinner. Patio season will be a delight here, but the management recommends to call for a reservation especially for dinner service and large groups.
Perfect birthday night. The absolute PERFECT patio for beautiful April weather in Texas. Cameron took great care of us and helped me pull off a surprise. Best calamari I’ve ever had. The Greek wines were unique. Staff, atmosphere, and food were all amazing. (Heads up if you’re looking for a quick bite: it’s authentically Greek in that you need to be prepared to sit and enjoy slowly. We stayed for hours and enjoyed the wine and atmosphere between courses.)
This place was absolutely spectacular! Came here not really knowing what to expect and was blown away. The food was absolutely incredible, the service was amazing, and the owners were so sweet. The ambiance was great too with live music. They were very busy with a couple huge parties when we came but still took great care of us. Our group enjoyed every minute of dinner. And the best part was even after eating so much, we didn't feel heavy, gross, and bloated afterwards. The food was so light and delicious. Probably best hummus I've ever had!! Can't recommend this place enough!!
Hands down, the best ribeye steak I have ever had. I'm so glad the restaurant relocated to Dallas, close to home. The staff was very friendly and went out of their way to give us private space so we could enjoy with our young baby as well.
First time visiting Greek Isles Grill and Taverna. I had a late lunch on a Friday - the place was not busy (about 4 other tables with small parties), and my waiter was attentive.
I NEVER eat restaurant bread, but I was especially hungry and made an exception at Greek Isle - my tastebuds were greeted with melt in my mouth heaven. Paired with olive oil and herbs, before I knew it, I had eaten half of the loaf; had to restrain myself from eating more!
I ordered the Lamb Chops medium rare, with the Greek potatoes. It is puzzling, because the 4 small chops were cooked to a variety of doneness, from well-done to rare - I didn't complain, because all of the meat was well marinated and tender - delicious.
I also chose a sweet Greek red wine, and even though it is technically a dessert wine, it paired wonderfully with the savoriness of the meal.
$$ - a little over $50, including a 20% tip - remember this was for one person.
Every time I’ve gone, I’ve had excellent food and service. It’s my go-to spot for Greek food!
We went for lunch during the week. Emily was our awesome server. The menu is diverse, the food was great, and restaurant team members were friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back.

This place rocks!!! Looks amazing now! After 2 years of being closed due to tornado. Staff is so kind! Food is awesome!! You have got to try the cucumber tomato salad. OMG!! BEST TOMATOES EVER! Patio is so cute! Open bar to the patio. It’s so nice!!
Service was really good and attentive. The house wine was a very generous pour and tasted great. The moussaka was spectacular and worth going back for sure.
If you are looking for the best Greek food and atmosphere this is the place for you! Chris and Amanda the owners are amazing!
