When I want an Italian Lunch, Carbone's is where I dine.  The restaurant has a contemporary edge, but is casual in its concept. The restaurant has a comfortable feel with some great food and service.  Salads, Specialty Handmade Pastas and Sandwiches provide lots of options.    I love their lunch special.  A 1/2 Turkey Hero Sandwich and a Cup of Escarole & White Bean Soup were perfect.  Nice to just sit and read, or linger at this restaurant.  A full selection of Italian Wines makes this a popular spot.    Glenn Almack

With an upscale, Italian deli atmosphere, an impressive wine selection, and a waitstaff that knows how good the food is, we had a great lunch. We opted for dishes with fresh made pasta and bright, flavorful tomato sauce and were not disappointed. Next time we'll be trying a po'boy of their house made porchetta.

Carbone's is a great addition to this area.  I'm glad it isn't closer to our house! 

I recently went for lunch and enjoyed the shrimp poboy special.  Everything was cooked perfectly, breaded shrimp that were a decent size.  No popcorn shrimp here!  The bread was more than I needed, but tasted great too. 

They have a great wine selection as well.  See pic!

Ran into Owen Wilson here once.  Nice guy.

I went with a friend for her birthday brunch and it was so good! They have a limited brunch menu but their amazing polenta and eggs makes up for it. Best brunch dish that I have had in a while! The polenta was perfect and had a medium egg on top with a light dollop of salsa! It was the perfect light dish that didn't leave me needing a nap after the meal.

My friend and I split a bottle of their house Chardonnay and it was delicious, super chilled, and affordable! Quite yummy. I would definitely come back for dinner. PS. Their rolls are crispy and soft on the inside. So good.

Loved the food! I've been for dinner twice. Fresh made items to stop in and and take home, as well. Good parking. The service was good. There is a good amount of seating available, also. Great wine selection! I will be back.

Pea Pesto & Scallions Bruschetta was smokey and delicious.
Lasagna al ragu bolognese was amazing.
Prices: ouch but worth it.
The door greeter/seater at the front door makes no eye contact, does not talk to you, doesn't ask you to follow here, and pretty much dumps the menus on the table and walks away: pretty pathetic. I guessed she's the Owner's girlfriend or a very short time employee.

I thought it was amazing! Crispy calamari, nice cold crab claws & then the clams casino was so good even though I was full & took the rest home I ate it all the second I walked in the door. Other reviews I read all said food was good but they thought it was expensive? I expected the $ 4 the quality of items I had? I eat out a lot though maybe those reviewers don't or they don't dine in the better restaurants? Anyway I highly recommend !

Great food! We did the Sunday night family-style tasting menu on June 10 everything was delicious!! Hand pulled Mozarella with heirloom tomatoes , through 4 shared aps, great pasta (duh) ribs, salmon , finished with blueberry/peach cobbler - fun and yummers - ran about $150 per couple with wine.

We’re always looking for places that not only have great food but is also fast - Carbone’s is a wonderful option. The staff were eager to help and were quite knowledgeable despite the newness of the place. The portions however are small and prices, on the high side especially for a place that has over-the-counter-service. Dive Coastal, our other favorite Park Cities over-the-counter eatery, with big ticket prices at least has hefty portions to match.

Having been here multiple times in Dallas as well as LV and NY, will tell you that you can never ever go wrong with their main dish Spicy Vodka Rigatoni and my personal favorite Veal Parmesan! Do be sure to order as much as you can the first time as it may be hard to request more after. 4-5 dishes is recommended for 3 grown Texan men outside their lovely Parmesan/bread samples.

What a wonderful experience here. We’d wanted to come to Carbone for a while and finally got the chance this weekend while we visited Dallas. The service was exceptional and the food was delicious. The spicy rigatoni was as good as advertised. We will definitely visit again.

Amazing experience and amazing food! Hugo was our server and he was top notch! Everything from the complementary bread, cheese, meat, and cauliflower to the salad, the vodka pasta and the porter house is chefs kiss.

Gorgeous restaurant. NYC location is nearly impossible to get reservations at but thankfully this location is slightly under the radar. Worth the hype to come & have dinner. Screams Frank Sinatra vibes inside the dining area, very classy, old Italian vibes. Service is tremendously professional. You have to order everything all at once, which we don’t typically like to do at restaurants but I will say, the courses were perfectly timed apart. They give complimentary salami, pickled cauliflower and bread (tomato, garlic and sesame bread) all of which was very tasty and filling! Of course, we got the spicy rigatoni. It was so creamy and perfectly Al dente. Slightly salty but still very good- highly recommend. My husband & I shared the Ribeye Diana with potatoes Louis. It came with a beautiful brown sauce with fried shallots on top. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. We were too full for dessert but they were so kind to give us the iconic Italian rainbow cookies- delish! My husband never had it before and he loved it.

Probably the most expensive restaurant in Dallas. It is obscenely expensive. Cocktails start at $20 each. We had the meatballs, the rigatoni and the meatballs were the best meatballs I've ever ever had in my life. For dessert we had the tiramisu which was amazing and the chocolate cake which I thought was OK. For two people with two cocktails, one appetizer two entrées and two desserts it was almost $300 and we had the least expensive entrées you could get. They're more expensive than any steakhouse you'd ever go to in Texas. New York prices in Texas. They want $31 for a Caesar salad and $95 for a ribeye and $120 for Veal Marsala?

Fine dining, good food but the atmosphere was lacking. Beautiful to look at but the terrace was hot! The fans in the corner did nothing to help. Felt bad for the poor waiters in suits... would recommend you book far in advance and sit inside if you're going in the summer...

This is a location to enjoy the experience, and they truly delivered. The food was delicious; the must-try is exceptionally the macaroni spicy rigatoni vodka, octopus pizzaiolo, Cesar a la ZZ, and carrot cake. Our waiter was just fantastic; praises to Luis and Amber. The dinner setting feels excellent. I suggest reserving a table outside around 7 pm, as the sun sets and night ambiance makes the experience finer for you. The drinks are delicious as well. Overall a great dining experience.

I’d like to compare Carbone to the likes of Saison in SF or Nick and Sam’s in Dallas given the prestige this place has. However, the food and experience here was just good and unfortunately not great. I also did not like being charged $9 a glass for water. As for the food: - the dessert looked great and tasted ~good~. - the spicy rigatoni was good, but nothing immensely special. - Lobster ravioli was good. - The bread was top-tier and absolutely fantastic. So was the cheese. That was certainly the highlight of the evening. - I also enjoyed the hamachi carpaccio.

I totally don’t get the bad reviews. Maybe they have improved significantly since reading previous reviews BUT… We went on a Tuesday night with a reservation. We were seated immediately and had water poured for us within a couple minutes and a waiter was already explaining the complimentary bread and cheese on the table. Waiter (Jon A) gave excellent recommendations and guided us towards a perfectly curated 3 course meal. Appetizers were huge and there was plenty of bread/sides. The restaurant itself is beautiful; both the terrace and the inside.

My first experience at Carbone was great. We got to sit in a cute romantic booth on the patio. The service was excellent. One of the managers helped us to pick out a great white wine to pair with our dinner, which we really enjoyed. Our waitress was super attentive and made sure we were well taken care of. Their food presentation was also great - the antipasta, pasta, and then the protein - and was served family style. Their food is on the expensive side, but everything tasted great and overall it was a great dining experience. I would recommend the spicy rigatoni vodka pasta, which we were told is one of their classics!
