I used to think ramen was a joke because instant ramen, although a good junk food, basically is. So I dug deeper and learned how real ramen in Japan is made and see now it is an art form. I searched all of Dallas to find a place who serves authentic Tsukemen and my friends recommended Wabi House. The menu is simple, which I like. I ordered the Tsukemen and Karaage. The Karaage appetizer is a unique take on chicken and watermelon. The chicken w aioli was good but wow the watermelon was coated with a spicy sauce that heightened it's sweetness and left a unique yummy after taste. So Tsukemen is a ramen bowl that has the broth on the side. The noodles have a firm texture perfect for dipping. The egg is so good, yolk still soft and brined or marinated in a way to make the egg white sweet. The pork belly was mostly meat and also sweet and delicious. The pork belly dipping broth, whoa, umami overload. Very filling and satisfying. That's some damn good ramen. Left needing a well deserved nap.

I LOVE ME SOME WABI HOUSE. This is my personal favorite place to eat in lower Greenville for a few reasons. 1) Really great menu with delicious sides and small plates. I've tried almost everything and I've loved each thing equally, from delicious (and cheap) Spicy Edamame to the melt in your mouth Takoyaki balls, to Croquettes, the pork ears.. pretty much everything is good and none of the dishes get old. 2) It has its own style: It may not be the most traditional ramen around, but it's unique enough with such great and fresh flavors that it comes close. I'm never been a huge fan of asian fusion because it gets away with changing the original without the effort. Well, this place has been incredibly consistent with its quality and techniques- and I never feel like the 'fusion' part of the menu is an excuse for less ingredients or 'frankensteined with mayo on everything' taste. Everything tastes fresh, clean, and hits the spot right where it should. Especially the ramen. 3) Ridiculously affordable for what you get. I don't make Sr. Executive CEO money despite what the rest of Greenville wants me to spend on a quick dinner out--Here you can share a sake with your SO and have a casual filling dinner experience without even coming close to breaking the bank. What you can snack on for 4-11 dollars will really surprise you, unlike some other places in the area that insist a single 'luxury' taco is worth 3-8 bucks.

TLDR; The food and atmosphere were great for a reasonable price. I recommend this place. First time at Wabi House and it was pretty great! I came while a lot of roads were closed around the restaurant due to a marathon going on, but there was plenty of parking in their lot and on the streets behind the restaurant. When I walked in to the restaurant around lunch time, it was packed. I had a seat at the bar and a server immediately greeted me. I ordered the Tonkotsu Ramen without scallions and a Coke. Even though they were packed, it took less than 10 minutes to get my ramen. The ramen was perfect on this cold day. Great flavor, amazing quality, and fast. I paid about $17 for my order. I look forward to going back and enjoying more.

Delicious ramen with great service. Extremely friendly staff with nice bar to grab some lunch. Indoor & outdoor sitting. I would definitely visit this location again.

Great experience! First time but we will be back, so far this is now my favorite Ramen noodle place!! Atmosphere was great, place was full but we sat right away, a few tables were open and they have an outside picnic area if you would rather stay there, family with small children. Waiter was quick, we got the Brussels and beets as the app, a Leche and expresso cocktail. I got the spicy miso, I always do and the wife got her veggie ramen but added a poached egg. Oh my, I would go back just for the Brussel sprouts that how good they are. Spicy miso was finally spicy 😋 usually ill order and have to ask for extra spice but this was just right. Noodles were fresh and had a nice slurry chew to them. Broth was spicy but not too salty, most ramen are packed with salt but I didn't taste salt. Maybe because it had the spices perfect. All for under 100 with tip included. A great lunch.

We ordered Tsukemen and spicy miso Raman. Both were really good. Tuckemen was more delicious. The broth was very flavorful. Tuckemen is only server for dinner. I can say this place is very authentic Japanese Raman. I tried a lot of Raman places and this place satisfied me. I used to live in Japan. Servers are very helpful and very professional. I highly recommend this restaurant. I am definitely going back again.

We revisited twice in a short period of time since we love their crispy pork ears sooooo much as well as the dried garlic noodles, which is the most delicious dried noodles to my own taste that I’ve had in the area! The amount of garlic was just right and the sauce was a secret magic of it. Besides, as you mix the poached egg well with noodles, it could bring your taste buds to the next level! Of course, love their appetizers too! Never got wrong with any of them. Would definitely try all of them out myself!

As always, the food here is fantastic. We used to visit the Fort Worth location when we lived there, but now we frequent the Dallas location. It can get crowded during happy hours and weekends, but the food and staff remain top-notch. Highly recommended!

Took servers' recommendations, ordered the beets and brussel sprouts appetizer, and loved the cashews/flavor of it! For main, got the Tonkatsu. Eggs were amazing, pork was good but small portion, and noodles had great bite to them (not over or under cooked). Very chill vibe, good light, not too loud. Would come again!

I’ve been going to this place for about 8 years now and it never disappoints. Really solid, good food. I highly recommend their chicken karaage and shishito peppers. This is their tankatso ramen with spicy rayu! Great stuff!

Great ramen, great service. It’s good that they have lunch-sizes in their ramen, very affordable. Good-sized takoyaki too. We tried their crispy pork ears. Very ingenious use of pigs ears. The ears itself can be chewy but the crisp batter makes up for it and the spicy mayo dip is great.

Had a fantastic experience today at Wabi house. Our family was seated in a nice booth and our food came out really quick too! Our waitress was very attentive and friendly. I almost missed out on taking photos of our ramen because I was so hungry and the appetizers did their job!
