Been wanting to come here for years. I rarely make it down to Bishop Arts but today my boyfriend and I were celebrating his birthday. After lunch we came here for dessert. Decided on the s'mores, a cocktail, and a latte. We chilled here for about an hour. We were the only customers there the whole time... we came at a weird time between lunch and early dinner... but I was still surprised no one else came in. Either way, i enjoyed myself and would like to come back to try the rest of the menu and desserts.
Amazing food at dallas finest! You have the have the dessert. Large menu with plenty of options for everyone. Highly recommend. My wife loved the sea bass. She said one the best dishes she has ever had. The shrimp with cornbread batter was life changing. Do not miss out on this place.
the people are very nice and they had some great dishes. Even though the food was good I didn't think it was worth the price. You have to get the Mac n cheese and salmon. Ambiance is very nice and tyre restaurant was clean. We had the smores which you must try if you go.
Came here to celebrate my sis’s 40th birthday. The menu looked great, and pulled us in. We came early on a Saturday and immediately liked the atmosphere upon entering. It’s casual but nice and gave us a good feeling.
Sitting down, I was once again enticed by the menu. Starting with cocktails, I had Rickey’s Gin. It was an excellent cocktail. A little sweet, a little tart. Perfection. I also ended up having a cucumber gin gimlet which was refreshing and crisp. Loved both drinks. 5 stars for the cocktails I had.
Unfortunately our food fell flat. Everything was just okay. Nothing stood out as great. We ordered biscuits for the table. At $6 for two, they should have been spectacular. They weren’t. They were a bit over done, and not fluffy. The whipped butter served with them was amazing though. We also shared the lobster corn dogs which were very good and the crab cakes which had a bit too much breading for my personal taste.
My husband and I shared the mussels as well as the scallops and mushroom risotto. The mussels were good but not outstanding. I wanted a bit more flavor. The risotto was cooked okay, but the mushroom flavor fell flat and i found it a bit salty. For fairness, I’ll say that my husband disagreed and I tend to be sensitive to salt. But neither of us loved it. The scallops were perfectly cooked and juicy though. 3 stars for the food overall. Good enough to give them another chance in the future, but not so great I’m raving about it.
Our server was great. We had a party of 9. He (Edgar I believe?) kept our drinks filled and was very attentive.
Because of the service and cocktails, I’m giving four stars. As I mentioned, the food brought it down, but the potential is there to be great.
Really enjoyed the huevos rancheros. Environment was good. Chicken n waffles were really good as well. Waffles had a rich texture.
Went here for brunch. Got the huevos rancheros and they are phenomenal! Restaurant located in such a neat area surrounded by local shops.
