From the moment you see the nostalgic looking sign, you are warmly invited into the original pancake house. The service was excellent and the restaurant was clean. The coffee was not my favorite flavor but the mug was super cute.
I ordered the Swedish pancakes with Lingonberry and I would recommend them if you like lighter pancakes. It was HUGE though. The bacon on the side was delectable. My server was a gem and I can't wait to come back and bring friends here.
There was traditional seating and also a comfy seat waiting or gathering area in the lobby. Parking adequate but tight. There were some EV chargers out front.
This location in Addison is top notch. From the minute we stepped inside the restaurant the greeter was extremely friendly and found us a place to sit. Our server Sara was amazing she got our order exactly how we asked and made sure to check on us while we ate. Sara also made sure that our drinks were topped off. Sara appeared to be having a good time while at work which is hard to find in a lot of restaurants. The General Manager Carlos Garcia walked around to each table introduced himself and also checked if anyone needed anything. I haven't experienced this level of professionalism in a long time and I go out to eat a lot and all over the metroplex. If you want amazing food and an excellent dining experience you will not be disappointed at this location in Addison. We will definitely be returning to this location.
Perhaps my favorite thing about this place is our ability to bring our own drinks. I am not a fan of their coffee, so being able to bring my own coffee / Starbucks is a huge plus.
Another plus includes their fresh-squeezed orange juice; although a little pricey.
Dishes are quite generous, and can easily be shared.
In the pictures that I have included, we have a month special for french toast with banana and pecans, avocado toast that comes with two eggs on top, and huevos con papas (eggs and potatoes; which comes with some sauteed bell peppers and onions ... and tortillas).
I've been here a hand full of times and every time the food is awesome, service is amazing. Always busy, always worth the wait, I love this place. Stacy the hostess, all smiles, always a joy, Jacob was so great, friendly, just amazing, Destiny was amazing as well, super nice, very funny, Evelyn is also great, very friendly. Carlos, the manager always there with a smile on his face as well, checking in guests and refilling the awesome coffee. This is my new Happy Place 😊
Absolutely delicious breakfast and HUGE portions we were stuffed . Our server Berniece took great care of us and my husband raved about the bacon and house made OJ and syrup 😋Thanks Carlos
As always says this is the best place to get breakfast outside, there is no place like this and we don’t talk about the service, from the door to your table, they are so kind, the manager Carlos make you feel like you’re in home, thank you Carlitos, you have done a really good job in this place.

It’s not the first time I’ve been here and it definitely won’t be the last day original pancake House always delivers I got the summer menu item which is the fall off the bone beef short rib eggs Benedict, caramel latte and a blueberry waffle. The vanilla iced coffee is a must grab for cold brew heads. The apple pancake is better than the Dutch baby. I’m glad they have Cholula hot sauce. I really like the fluffy biscuit. Amazing brother.
Great experience. Our party ordered (1) BLT, (2)Reuben and (3) country eggs Benedict.
BLT and Reuben sandwiches were awesome! Well done.
The person who ordered country eggs Benedict said he didn't like it. The gravy tasted like it was from a can, they were hoping from scratch and they didn't like the biscuit. But he would come again to try something else.
The atmosphere was great, ample and chic seating area for anyone waiting to be seates, check-in easy for a busy Sunday and our server was very polite.
Great experience food was good. Like the saying goes everything is bigger in Texas and the omelette gave that it was also served with a short stack.
Came on a Friday around 9am, got seated right away. Hubby ordered 2x2x2, substituted the 2 slices of bacon for sausage patties and added pecans to the pancakes. I got the country Benedict- really good flavors but was disappointed with the homemade biscuits, they were tough & tasted burnt at the bottom. Orange juice really is freshly squeezed- it's got a bit of pulp (which I like!) and it's the right amount of tart and sweet.
