Have had the brisket twice and roast beef once so far. When I try a new place, I always ask for the plainest of sandwiches,no cheese etc etc, which will tell you how good the sandwich actually is. The brisket was outstanding and the hero/bread of the highest quality. Have tried the Balboa version will both the brisket and roast beef...both times nailed it. Great job. Will certainly return and highly recommend it to others. Next up...corned beef and pastrami. :)
I have been to this shop a few times already. Probably had one of the best Reuben's around (yes, better than Bloom's ever was). Had a Corned Beef wedge - great food, great bread and a nice atmosphere.
We stopped by about 45 minutes before they closed but the very kind host assured us there was no rush. We ended up staying in to have our sandwiches. The brisket Philly Cheesesteak was sooo delicious as was the Aztec sandwich! The tamarindo didn’t really taste like tamarind but I mixed mine with lemonade and it was delicious. We’ll definitely return to try their other sandwiches. The 6” sandwiches were more than enough and very filling without any sides!
Food and the workers are fantastic. The sandwich combos that they come up with are awesome. Service is definitely above par. Every one is so friendly. Not a lot of space to eat inside though. Nice take out or out door eating spot.
Pastrami flavor is so delicious! I wasn't happy my take out order pastrami wasn't lean enough for me. The owner graciously provided me with a better batch. I would recommend this place as the best tasting pastrami around & outside of NYC. Not to mention they know how to accommodate & treat their customers. My mother is 95 and pastrami is one of her favorites. Without a doubt I will be back. Thank you again Little Cabin!
Loved that they had outdoor seating. They do not require masks inside when ordering which I didn't love. There is no table service here it's order and pick up at the counter.
Food was good but not out of this world. I had the corned beef reuben and my guest had the brisket burger, we shared fries and ordered small watermelon juice and a small Arnold Palmer, $40. $40 y'all!!! If the sandwiches were larger I could see charging the $12 each, but they were average bun and bread size which at the deli I could've gotten these same orders, same prices on hero's. Wayyyy overpriced in my opinion for what we received. Quality of food was good but I wouldn't get their custom drinks again as we felt they needed sugar and were watered down.
Would recommend to try, but most likely won't be back as there's many other places out there to try and nothing wowed us enough to add it to our favorites list.
Fantastic BBQ sandwiches. Tried the chicken Carolina hero. Huge (was able to save half of it for latter. Sampled the brisket, was not disappointed. We will return. Eat in or take out.
So I had the brisket Philly cheese steak. The flavor of the brisket was front and center so the onions and cheese were lost with that, but the sandwich was really good. Wife had a pastrami rueben. She felt it tasted more like corn beef, but she liked her sandwich as well. French fries are exact same flavor as 5 guys just thinner cut. People taking our order and bringing our food were all really nice. I'd go back and try other sandwiches for sure.
Damn, I was impressed by this place! Shared a delicious Philly cheese steak with homemade chips. The place is cute and tiny, and the workers were lovely. Will return soon! Be sure to check out this new gem!
What an awesome little place! Little Cabin delivered on BIG flavors. I had the pleasure of eating thier take on the cubano. Luscious pulled pork, house cured bacon, perfectly vinegary pickles, velvety mayo and some whole grain mustard to top it off on amazingly fresh and soft bread. I bought a 6" and took home another 6"! Give this palace a go if you are looking for local flavor, BBQ, and Vegetarian sandwiches, and two of the most lovely hostesses at the front of the house A+, I'll be back for Briskit!
Excellent sandwiches. I've had both the chicken and the brisket, and both were amazing. I've never left this place hungry! Highly recommend.
We had been wanted to stop in since it opened up but it's just a little out of the way for us. We were not disappointed
Nice little place. Has the same mom/pop vibe you find in the local BBQ places. As it's just a shack with 1 guy running it, it's not very warm in the winter fyi. Not a deal breaker by any stretch.
Also, any slight inconvenience is irrelevant when faced with old school customer service. This guy will make you whatever you want and genuinely wants to make sure you're happy. Honestly, when was the last time you had that kind of service? You know, that feeling like someone actually wants your business.
Prices are fair
Not going be be ready super fast but not a bad wait at all.
Portions are good. I didnt get a good pic of my hero, as I devoured it too quickly.
We'll be back soon.
