the food here is awesome, my mother loved to eat here now we make sure to ear here whenever we are together. Love the family who owns it treats us like family and the food is so good!!!
Love this food they know how to make real Korean food. I spent 4 years in Korea and this is real deal awsome food.
This is the best Korean restaurant in Columbus, hands down. They have large portions and the prices are inline. Very friendly owners. Everything is hand prepared and steaming hot. They have some dishes that are rated hot and they mean it. Great place for a dinner with the whole family, something for everyone. Try it you will like it.
Love the chicken fried rice!! It's our family favorite!
Amazing business.. They're very affordable and delicious. Great Price, knowledgeable friendly staff always willing to answer questions. Very clean and just an all around great place. 9/10
Addictive. This is a treat. Fried rice wrapped in the sea weed is one of our favorites. If you want to have fun with the food ask for the hamburger egg roll. Its definitely different but tasty.
Old place; love it. Great Korean fast food. I was seriously devastated when they stopped serving their Cantonese chicken. Oh well, they're still amazing. Such a sweet couple, AMAZING sweet tea, and I always love the antique snoopy phone by the register.
Off the path but worth it. This is some tasty Korean chow served up by friendly staff in an unassuming place. I tried the medium spicy, chicken (Me Wae?) with rice and Chinese fries & gravy. Delicious marinated & grilled chicken with sauteed carrots, onions and celery (seldom so abundant in a dish!), and the "fries & gravy" are something akin to vegetable tempura with an addictive, teriyaki-like dipping sauce. So good! My daughter ordered the Bulgogi with chop chae; the Bulgogi was tender and satisfying but the chop chae wasn't a big deal; I recommend trying their cole slaw instead since it's vinegar-based. You help yourself to drinks, there's a unique condiment on every table which is some sort of soy sauce with pickled garlic (great on the rice), and the whole, filling thing came to less than $20 for two, drinks included and no tip expected. Great taste, outstanding value, and well worth finding.
Delicious. The food here is great. I usually get either the sweet and sour chicken or the pepper chicken, both with rice and fries. The rice is probably my favorite rice anywhere, and the Chinese fries (fried carrots and onions) are excellent. Make sure to get some chicken gravy for the fries. I also had the pizza spring (?) roll, which was surprisingly good. The people that work here are extremely nice as well, though a little hard to understand on the phone. Prices are good. Definitely recommended if you want some tasty Oriental food.
Yummers!. Ok Sun is one of my favorite restaurants in Columbus. The owner is so nice! Try their vegetable fried rice and french fried vegetables...stupendous! Bravo, Ok Sun!
I have been eating here my whole life and their food is some of the best. The yakimando is pan seared instead of deep fried which makes it the best I have had. Their bulgogi and dajigogi (the pork bokum) is the best I have had, one place in D.C. Is almost as good but so far none can beat it. Overall the food is delicious and I recommend them to everyone. They do not have very nice atmosphere, but the food is the best and that is what counts.
I've eaten at OK Suns for as long as I can remember and have always loved it. The family that runs it is great, the amount of food you get for what you pay is nice and always fills you up.Overall great take out.
This restaurant kind of confused me to be honest. It feels like a Chinese Korean fusion restaurant. Don't get me wrong, it was delicious! The lunch specials are about 10 dollars a person for rice, stir fry, and an entree. Great lunch specials! I'd highly recommend going here! They have great take out options available.
Seriously, this may be the best hidden gem in Columbus. Ya'll. 36 years in business for a reason. Sweet people. The food tasted like it was cooked with love. Best restaurant rice I have ever had. Anywhere. The bulgogi spicy was absolutely what it was supposed to be and truly some of the best we have had around the country. Salty, sweet, and left a nice heat afterward. Will most definitely be back and fully intend on trying all the menu items.
I have been to this place NUMEROUS times.....since the 80's. I always get the Mae Wa Chicken which is a generous portion (comes with rice and slaw and veggies) and hubby gets the combination fried rice. Great sweet tea. We have never been disappointed. They have always had a 100 rating as long as I can remember. I miss seeing the owner Ok Sun. She used to make chocolate cake and red velvet cake....to die for. She is retired I believe. She was a sweetie. The lady that works there now has been there forever and she and the gentleman chef are very nice. I am so excited that they have reopened. They closed for a while....guessing due to Covid.
Have been going here with my mom since i was little and it’s always so good. I love the husband & wife that own this place. Will definitely be coming back more often before it’s not available anymore!
Wow. Super cute resturant and fast service. Few menu items, but the entire menu is great. Big portions, try the hot sauce! About 10 dollars a plate, but completely worth it.
Eating as I type this. I am In love!! Absolutely delicious food with even better service. Everyone is so nice and kind. Everything is hot and fresh. Just incredible.
