There was 2 employees. One was very nice and helpful and was not having a good day. He just threw our toppings on, and if asked for a little bit more he was like so over the top with it and I asked for a small swipe of mayo and he gave it way to much. I asked it to be cut in half, yes even though it's a 6 inch.
I had my 2 other co-workers with me and he did the same to them. But over all it was a great lunch!
Came here one afternoon after working New Year's Eve well into the early morning, and was immediately greeted by Hunter. The entire restaurant was clean, well-lit, the music was at a comfortable volume and I was very impressed by how friendly & efficient the staff member was even as it became busier. As a bartender and food service lifer, this is exactly how I want to see a restaurant. Quick, clean, and friendly.
Good is good and fresh, but The way they conduct business is not cool. Talking personal business on the front line in front of ppl. Jst not appropriate. Some staff was in front line Jst a cussing & Fussing in front of the customer's that was in the store.,smh💯
I like Subway. I admit it. I was craving it, and had just gotten out of Grant Hosputal, and looked accordingly. I was waiting on my VA rep to pick me up to take me to the Veterans clinic, and went here for a sandwich and to clean up a bit. Immediately, the apparent manager was treating me as if I were a vagrant (not that vagrants should ever be treated in such a manner either) and trying to force my order or exact discomfort and embarrassment so to eject me from this facility. Mind, that this was all within the first 60-90 seconds that I was in the store, and that there was a couple at the counter placing their order. I purchased $21 worth of subs and beverage that day, so I could take some with me for later, and the young black girl that prepared them was excellent-made exceptional sandwiches and had an air of embarrassment at her bosses treatment toward me. I realize that there is a homeless shelter within the block in one direction, but there is also a state of the art hospital in the other direction, and people often good people, experiencing possibly the most difficult things that life can bring are the patrons and denizens of both, and can outwardly it can probably be difficult to differentiate between them. People do not look their best during times of crisis, but nearly all will seek an establishment of comfort (food) to find a reprieve from their current reality, the gravitas of their situation. Six months prior, as my wife were on her deathbed decades early, my wallet and phone stolen, and I was stranded outside in Hilliard in temperatures close to 0, concerned only with trying to be near her and oblivious to the fact that I were becoming frostbitten and confused, two Subway employees saw me, and brought me into their store and fed me like a king, gratis, and unprovicated. I didn't explain the events that had left me in that situation. I was even oblivious to the fact that I wasn't eating, sleeping, or paying attention to my own wellness. They treated me with compassion and respect. They insisted I take soup and a sub with me too. How we treat the least of creatures, and those during their most difficult times is what shows our mettle as human beings.
Great employees and overall Subway experience! I don't eat meat and they were very generous with my Veggie Delight sub. The people that work there are very easy-going and personable.
For having 8-10 people in line in front of me during the lunch rush it still only took about 10 minutes for me to walk out with my sub. They had 4 people working the line and they were doing a great job.
It is great that there is a Subway restaurant in this neighborhood that is open on Sundays.
I had been attending a "social justice park dedication event" today [10-28-2018] at First Congregational Church [a few blocks away from this Subway restaurant] and had wanted to eat a quick lunch immediately before that event.
Most of the other Subway restaurants in downtown Columbus had been closed today [thank you, Google Maps, for having provided that information so easily] but this Subway restaurant had been, thankfully, open.
I had eaten a quick [and delicious] lunch and then had arrived at the "social justice park dedication event" exactly at the correct time.
Great staffing and best of the subway sub's quick accurate building on the sub. I have no complaint what so ever just good quick food.
Clean, service was quick and Subway friendly. Minus one point for having to ask for a key to the restroom. Given the area it is probably forgivable.
This is the best subway I have found. Very clean, friendly workers great very fresh food. They follow safe food handling practices. I love this place!
